Moondog "feels" right. If that makes sense. Really looks like it captures the mood or look of late 70's or early 80's cinema. Thanks for this video!

Great video, I now know to just add anamorphic lens flare in Vegas pro, I don't want to compromise sharpness, thank you for the beautiful informative video it really saved me money 👍👍👍

I have all 3 gens of the Ulanzi anamorphic lens and the Sirui VD 01 Anamorphic lens. The Sirui is my favorite. It also has very, very minimal distortion on the sides and no vignetting.

WOW ya I would love to check out that Sirui 🤩👍🏾

This was a good intro and comparison of those two anamorphic lenses. The suggestion to watch the Media Division was really great. After a few minutes of that explainer, I realized the cinematic production had to be cast onto my larger TV screen and watched it with my morning cup of coffee. Both videos where very educational.

Hi Patrick, thanks for the review. I have every moment lens except the Anamorphic and I am torn between the Moondog and Moment. But my question for you is this. I am using the IPhone 11 Pro Max and everything lines up great, but I am looking to possibly getting the Iphone 13 pro max when it comes out. Rumors are that the sensors and the optics on the camera are larger. How is that going to effect the current lenses and is moment and others going to have to upgrade their lenses for the newer technology.

I really enjoyed this, brother! Thanks very much for this! Now I'm off to go watch "Blue Thunder," hehe. I love Roy Scheider; 80s kid, myself. Thanks again, Patrick. You're a gem, man.🙏🏾✌🏾

I see what you mean about it being a little skewed because it doesn't lock into the exact same position each time. Patrick, I have a Note 10+ and do ALL my creating with it. It has 3 lenses and so I feel the wide angle lens is perhaps very similar to what an anamorphic lens captures. Without the need for taking lenses off and on etc. Do you feel my assumption is correct? Great video as always, thanks mate ✌

Ya but but the Anamorphic has a different feel from the wide I think I'll make a video wide vs Anamorphic 🤔🤔🤔🤩👍🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Greetings, I’m new to Anamorphic. Does anyone have suggestions as to when to use Gold vs Blue flares? Is there a rule?
@patricklevar2 жыл бұрын
It's just a preference of what you like more do you prefer blue or do you prefer gold there's really no difference 👍😎
