Why Do You Tow a Subaru With Your Motorhome?

We've definitely made some mistakes full time RVing and our first tow vehicle was one that made the list. You definitely don't want to make this mistake!

Any mechanical problems flat towing the Subaru? I’m looking to buy a manual transmission outback and I’m getting mixed information regarding if it’s possible. My concern is the manual transmission not getting lubricated.

You will need to look up the owners manual for a specific vehicle. Look for this wording dinghy mode and see if it doesn't give you instructions. Some cars you can be flat towed but they have restrictions. Your owners manual is your best source.

Subaru manufacturer says you are not able to flat tow it.

My local dealer advised that as long as it's a manual transmission you can tow.

Definitely no dolly. All 4 wheels must be turning on an AWD vehicle.
