Although most of the questions and answers on this video did not come up on my interview, this was a good guide of how to project my answers and make them team oriented, mission oriented, clarify what my management plan was and explain I was ready to hit the ground running, make a difference for the office as manager and in return making a bigger impact in production using my skills to helping others to be as productive as I was when I was part of the team.

I think you are a person I can talk to about this. I remember when my old manager asked *_me,_* not my fellow present coworkers, if the verbally announced instructions for the night made sense (after the task giver asked if there were any questions). I think it was because I was always a slow learner, who often struggled at work or needed clarification. I'm pretty sure her question to *_me_* wasn't random. Well, I don't care for her underestimation; it's cruel! One day, she asked if I knew where a certain item was. I said I didn’t know. She replied “you don’t know?” I said “I never know,” to passive-aggressively indicate how unknowledgeable I was. I think her response was a friendly “come on, John, you’re smart.” I said I wasn’t, to show how doubtful I was about my intellect. I might have added that I “never get it” or something? Either way, I showed her I felt unintelligent. She said she thought I was highly intelligent and very smart, and when I asked her why, she said I was a very hard worker. But that’s just it-I’m a banquet server. It’s not particularly academic or brainy. So...I think she was patronizing me. Being a hard worker doesn’t necessarily make you smart, as far as I’m concerned...especially if the job is casual, not scholarly or creative. That's why her smart comment really hurts my feelings. Do you think she looks down on my intellect, especially the night she asked if the instructions made sense?

It is really hard to know for sure without being there. The best thing to do in my opinion (if it were me, so please do what is best for you) is to address it and have an open and professional conversation :)
