Why Do Younger Men Fall In Love With Older Women?

At 34, I met the woman, then just turned 48, who would become the love of my life and my wife- we've been together more than 30 years now and will be to the end. She was quite beautiful, intelligent, and vivacious (the opposite of me, so opposites do attract😊), so much so that guys in their 20s were always hitting on her. She had been married before and told me she was looking for someone real, of substance, rather than just surface attributes. From my late teens onward, I was always sexually, romantically, and emotionally attracted to women ten or more years my senior. Why? Also from my late teens onward I was always described as mature and serious (for my age). But perhaps along with the sexual aspect it was the emotional stability and maturity such women offered, as opposed to the game playing idiocy of girls/women my age with pretty faces but not much going on behind them. Plus, it didn't hurt that she didn't have kids, and I never had wanted any. I'm 65 now, she's 79, and as beautiful to me as ever.

Just ended relationship with someone 10 years younger. My advice: vet out exactly what they want up front (kids etc). 10 years can be a big difference depending on the seasons in life you’re in. Dating a 30 year old I learned he was still unsure exactly what he wanted and I am not willing to have more kids at my age. Unfortunately this conversation materialized after feelings etc were hurt in ending the relationship. There is some immaturity present; communication skills and experience may not be on the same level. Have patience, curiosity, open & kind communication, and have fun.

Yeah i knew from the beginning i need to be honest and direct about who i am and what i want if i want our relationship to work. Not only to her but myself as well. My gf is 38 and i am 27. I told her i want marriage and after i understood myself on kids i told her i want them, but i do not want children if she is not the mother. Her love is more important to me. So i told her that if God decides to bless us with children that will be amazing, but if He doesn't then that just means i will have more time to adore her instead. I am sorry you decided you didn't want children, it could have been a beautiful thing between you two i am sure. I’ve since realised it’s because I’m still childish in my outlook in life and my interests are also things associated with people decades younger such as gaming, manga and anime. Sometimes it's not a happy story. Why because you're finishing raising a younger guy as if he was your son. Also I've seen cases where all of a sudden they want kids and because of your age you can't give them one and they end up leaving you. So you have to be very careful about this because it can be a two edge swore and you wind up getting hurt.

Until one time, I was minding my own business and tried to ignore her when she kept calling my name, asking me to go up to her. I do not want to teach, train, or educate, a younger man, who has no idea how to treat a woman, no concept of what a woman wants, etc. Women work on improving themselves but men on the other hand, for the most part, act like 'here I am, take me as I am or not, I don't care'

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong older women need love to as well ‼️I like older men but some of them are literally stuck in there ways and want everything perfect . The younger guys are more relaxed . But there’s definitely nothing wrong with it but no older woman wants to have her younger partner mistaken her as a mother figure . Don’t confuse love with mother figure or care giver ‼️

I've met more men younger that have more goals and take charge than many single older men. You can just have a man take charge all the time, though, that's why you're partners.

Younger men will go for older women and this will keep on happening even more because lonliness is on the rise and antisocialism is happening. But like I said ladies, it's always sweet in the beginning when they're on their training wheels but eventually, from my observation, they will ride away to their realistic dream goals. You taught them what they need to know and they will likely move on especially if they are the superficial type or just want a family of their own.

Got rejected by 3 girls so far(2 from my college and another from a dating app who insulted me too). I tried following some girls on Instagram whom I knew in high school and one from my college too but we aren't classmates and 5 of them followed me back and I still didn't message them yet as idk what to write and they are all 20-22 year olds. But I am sad that the girl named Britney didn't accept my follow request yet. She was my classmate in 6th to 10th grade and I had a crush on her when we were in 9th and 10th grade.
