Since they are adults they can withstand their hatred (and they have to do it otherwise they'd lose their job), but this doesn't prove they hate each other. I do think their issue is personal since Zidane barely gives Bale minutes in La Liga and La Copa de España even though Bale was fit all if not most of the time. They've won competitions, they've had record-breaking fees, they've also been boed on the pitch & they've also been disappointed by various managements. But they kept on playing like a pro. A good example is Neymar, he's got a really bad party attitude off the pitch that affects everyone else on the team, he's been boed by his own fan & he's been unwanted by the owner & club management. But he still plays his best, trains hard & support his team when off the pitch like an animal whether it's watching them play at home or fighting with a supporter. 🤔 I feel the battle that there could have been a spat between them (Initially, may be due to some inconsistency in Bale's health Zizu talked to him, where at one point, he cracked a joke about Bale's health which was improper or more aggressive) and Bale in turn called him "GENETICALLY BALD" which made him angry as everyone knew he had lost hairs even when he himself was a player but nobody ever tried to hurt him by saying so. He sat alone and cried for hours. Few team players saw him crying and asked him why he was crying and what had happened which made him so depressed. Zizu told them what had really happened and told them that he did everything to save them but yet he lost them. His childhood dream was to have big long hairs but he lost it.(Here, Bale had secretly heard this) Now the Bale knew exactly what to do to hurt him more for making fun of his health and luring few fellow teammates against him. Now Bale grew his hairs longer and even made a pony on the top just to tease him everytime indirectly... That's how exactly the war began.

I think it doesn't matter who wins or looses cause the club is suffering, madrid had to back out from Van De Beek transfer due to shortage of cash...... Zidane follows the same mentality of many coaches that just tend to freeze players even though they need them.... zidane who accomplished in a short time what other coaches do in a life time, but still such mentality complicates thing, i remember his fallout with James Rodriguez in 2016 in the match with atletico (zidane first defeat in the bernabue) and his career was over, he was left on the bench 2017 season , same goes for gareth bale who no one can deny his actions are stupid, but never the less put some many legendary performances for madrid especially in big games his goal against barca or liverpool bayern munich atletico madrid..... this war needs to stop....

I think here the problem is with Bale's professionalism. A player to insist he is fit and gets himself into a worse condition is not something that a club of Madrid's stature really expects. And him being happy to move to China at this age (despite of his recurrent injuries), clearly shows how competitive he is. Finally all his open reactions on the club that pays him are not signs of a good professional. But he is one of my favourite players though. Copa del re, ucl 2018.. just unbelievable prformamces

Zidane just got rid of a big headache, Real Madrid just traded Gareth Bale back to Tottenham Hotspur. So now Zidane should be happy as he also traded his other big headache, James Rodriguez, to Everton. Now Zidane has no excuse and should win lots of silver trophies in 2020-2021. Right? I do not think so. His main and huge issue, or weakness if you would call it that, is that he does not have a world class striker and goal scorer. Zidane surely misses CR7. Real's huge weakness is that they have not been able to replace CR7 and since CR7 ran away to Juventus Real has not been able to score goals and they keep struggling to score goals. My prediction is that Real Madrid will suffer this coming season, and will keep struggling to score goals. Real Madrid must bring in top-class scorers if they wish to stay as winners and champions. Eden Hazard has been a huge flop and a very big disappointment for Real Madrid. I am sure Chelsea is thrilled and ecstatic that they got so much undeserved millions by trading often-injured Hazard to Real Madrid. Real must get a lot smarter and stop over-paying for often-injured players who do not produce.....like Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard.

Gareth became injury prone at Real Madrid though. Hazard is nearly the same age as Bale, and I never understood why Perez thought that he was a good investment since he's already at a decline. He's not a matchmaker and never will be.

But my prediction that Real will be struggling offensively this season was very accurate in yesterday's game (on 9/20/20 vs Real Sociedad) where the final result was 0-0, Real just cannot score. I very surprised that during this past off-season they did not get any new strikers, they seem to be resigned to stay with their current line-up which I truly believe is a huge mistake. The way things are right now I doubt very much that Real Madrid is going to win any silver trophies this coming season, nothing, zilch, nada. I am an avid Real Madrid fan, and I want the best for them, I want them to win all the time, but I am also a realist and do see the writing on the wall. It is going to be a long, sad and frustrating season for all Madridistas.

@@rickest553 Bale is gone now. For some reason Zidane gave up on Bale and did not allow him to play and have the opportunity to help Real and score. Karim Benzema alone cannot do it, he needs help to score, he needs other good players to feed him the ball and this is seldom happening. Presently Real Madrid's goal scoring production is poor and very low. If they do not improve quickly they are going to be left behind and suffer. Hope this will not happen.
