Tommy is gonna play a country, fail at least 3 times and then proceed to do it the TommyKay way and find a new strategy and tactic to complete the achievement in the hardest way possible. Hey tommy! A quick tip for whenever ur playing the civil war: depending on what side you choose (in this case carlist/facist), I believe you are guaranteed the mountaineer division as well as the cavalry. If you place them and the rest of your units in the enemy victory points prior to the war with one influence in their province then you can basically end the war within months! Even better if you time it right, you could end the war before you get the “Battlelines Solidify” event and have an OP and broken defense boost to your core provinces when fighting other nations.

I don't know much about this guy. I just got HOI4 during the summer sale earlier this month. I don't think I learned much but this wasn't a tutorial so that's cool. Entertaining vid. I just wanted to say I respect the attitude about not giving up, and learning when you fail. If you had chosen Alphonse XIII, the other monarchist candidate (a Bourbon, too, by the way), and France had gone the legitimist monarchist path, you would have noticed that both rulers are the same. Then, instead of getting a wargoal against France with the "Claim the French throne" focus, you would get an event to propose a unification under King Alphonse. Oddly enough, that can happen too with Portugal if they go the monarchist path at the same time. Thus, you can get cores in France, Spain, Portugal and Brazil without being at war at all.

Needs to be a peace out option, once a country is over 50% capitulation, there should be a button that comes up on the war screen, next to call to arms or something. At 50%, if you peace out, the leader of the opposition faction get 50% of war score, and the capitulating country get 50% of the war score. The longer the losing country leaves it the less their war score becomes until it is eventually 0 (Full capitulation). If they accept, then they are automatically taken out of the war (Full capitulation regardless should take them out of the war). You technically are still at war with Japan, but they're at the other side of the world. If there is no troop on troop contact for 1 year then an auto white peace should be signed (Same with Navy vs Navy). If a country is then liberated (All original territory is regained by a different controller), a new peace screen needs to come up, and the new leader of that faction now gets to decide if to liberate, occupy etc (obviously hard wired into AI, democratic always liberate etc...) Basically a lot more peace deals would be popping up, each time a country switches hands, but would it slow the game down that much? I don't think so. Any plot holes in my idea guys that I'm overlooking?
