Why Does Every PRO Musician Use MONO Cases?

I’m just a weekend warrior, but still use a Mono case… along with my tick bag. Next purchase is the Mono pedalboard case. The hard tour case is nice, but bulky and heavy.

literally just purchased the limited edition classic flyby ultra backpack and i understand why now. protects everything and fits all my stuff besides my guitar but my pedal board mini and laptop and camera inear etc amazing and waterproof!

And my as-, err, umm, tail is STILL using Roadrunner!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Granted, Roadrunner doesn't necessarily suck from what I've heard, and I have no complaints so far myself. But I asked about Mono, and the dude I talked to said that Roadrunner was fine but it had a short-ish lifespan, and Mono lasted way longer since it was built better. It'll be a long time before I believe I deserve Mono. Lol.

I’m still terrified of the idea of flying with an instrument! I have a Vertigo Ultra for both my guitar and bass, but I’m afraid of what could happen if I was forced to check them. You said people have done it before?

You can confidently gate check your guitar or bass with the mono vertigo. I’ve done it dozens of times.

Changing the voltage doesn't change the power. The power, measured in watts, is the same at each voltage setting. Current x Voltage (EMF) = power. Sorry I'm being a pedantic electronic engineer.

If they let you it’s always worth a try. But I’ve gate checked my electric guitars and basses many times with no issues. Using Mono vertigo of course.

I've been going between Mono and Gruvgear since 2012...mono cymbal bag and OG Flyby has been with me since 2013. What sold me was how weatherproof they are. With where I live (MD) you need a case that can handle all the bi-polar weather here. I just wish Mono made cases for a full kit (Kick and toms)

Hell no. Zippers break and stitches fall apart. Cart bends and falls apart. Had gear fall off there stupid cart due to the Chinese crap parts. Fret wrap crap

@@Bibblebabbler I'm not talking about their cart or fret wrap. Just the gigblade as I said. Literally never had any of those problems. To put that in context, I've had their v1 gigblade for at least 12yrs and it does show wear after all that time but it's been EXTENSIVELY used and still does its job really well. I've recommended and gifted the gigblades to students and other musicians and none of them have had any problems whatsoever. Zero. Recently upgraded to the latest gigblade (v3) and its an amazing gigbag. Definitely an upgrade. High quality, w tons of storage and fantastic protection. But I also have their club backpack and it's tha shit. Had it for 12+ years too and it still is as good now as it was the day I bought it. So, sorry for your experience but they're a hell yes in my experience. The only product I've got from them that sucked was a newer back pack that was discontinued by the time I bought it. It was a cheaply made product

You like them that’s cool but mono is far superior in all ways for quality in my opinion. I pray for the day gruv gear goes under.

I hope someone calls out Spector for having the worst gig bags and cases for their overpriced basses. I bought two basses from them one that was $2000 with no gig bag or case and another $3000 bass with a gig bag that I can roll up and put in a real gig bag. It's just a cloth cover. Both of those basses had finish and control knob issues, that would never get past Epiphone, Squire, or Stirling QC.
