Why does everyone want these?

We look at the TMNT Bugman and Electrozapper from NECA. These two characters might seem random, but Bugman and Electrozapper have a place in a lot of folks hearts. NECA never seems to fail when pulling the designs from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cartoon. If you're a TMNT fan then you'll probably want to grab the Bugamn and Electrozapper set!

Neca obviously makes enough money by selling these as Target Geekmeout exclusives or in questionable events like Hauweiathon. Hasbro not too long ago listened to the fans and created an H-Pulse EU page where you can get even figures that wouldn't really sell in most European countries for a reasonable price. Neca should take a leaf out of that book...

Same in Australia. There's a pittance of the cartoon figures available here and none are sold in department stores like Target. The only way to get them, especially all these great two packs, is online from the US and it ends up being super expensive.

Yes! Just picked this up today along with April and the Big Frog. This set is a treat for me. They’re the epitome of throwaway characters and yet the figs are super well done. Bugman is kinda awkward to move around cuz of all the stuff hanging off him but he got much better to pose once I figured out how to rotate his tail around. He’s def going up on a flight stand. Electrozapper is a real surprise. My brother who collects Marvel Legends was jealous watching me figure out that all those effect pieces clicked into the different hands. Super simple and effective. Been having a blast watching you work your way through all this haulathon stuff!

I had to go to the source, Mr. Tomasz Rozejowski, to find out what that blue thing was. Of course, if I had just rewatched the episode I would have found out, but it's "Leestanite" which is Bugman's Kryptonite. The chain is supposed to be coated in the stuff (not sure why it's green since it wasn't in the episode) too. I'm someone who thinks the old cartoon does not hold up very well, but this episode was pretty fun. They got the old Spider-Man voice actor to voice Bugman so it adds another layer. I did remember the character from my youth for the reason you mentioned - he's horrifying. They actually animate his mouth extending and changing into those mandibles and it kind of freaked me out as a kid. The sound effect has stayed with me these 30+ years. Good review!

I have no idea who these characters are. I refuse to believe that anyone does. This is clearly a Mandela-matrix situation. Mandelatrix. Not a criticism, but I think I missed the transition when you stopped doing a number scale rating thing for different aspects of the toy. I think the videos are as good without this feature, but was there a video where that feature was RIP'd? But Trevor Zammit said that they won't make a human form for Bugman (because he's afraid it won't sell). But, then again, he said the same for Smash and Jersey Red, and they eventually got their figures 2 years later. So, there's maybe still a hope. But I'm not sure about Dr Dome.

Yes, it's a cool two-figure pack but not essential for my collection! I'm still reeling from the last haulathon and I am not picking this one up! I don't even remember these two and I watched the original 87 tv series or should I say 88 tv series as the TMNT premiered in first run syndication with 5 episodes mini series which was a 2 hour movie broken up into 5 episodes in December of 1987 before the initial tv series started October 1988. 🐢🦸🪲📺
