I'm quite sure there have. Even if one is convinced GOC is schismatic, it doesn't mean one endorses the persecutions. And based on Elder Ephraim's and others' testimony, the original resistance the calendar innovation was Orthodox but took a wrong turn at some point (like Elder Philotheos believed and Met. Cyprian of Oropos and Fili then tried to steer back)

Question, as someone who is a Catechumen of the Serbian Orthodox Church and whose Bishop is Maksim Vasijevic, as I found out he is a part of the World Council of Churches, what would an approach for someone in my position? As I'm just looking for information. Also, some personal concerns are spawning up at the church I attend, as people showing up drunk, smoking cigarettes right in front of the Temple, and right after receiving the Eurcharist, smoking marijuana and getting high while on Church grounds, holding onto Evolutionary beliefs, and a LOT of Ubermensch, National Socialist beliefs that are presiding over what Biblical teaching...Im not sure on the last part though, as I do agree that white men have been targeted lately, and shouldn't be ashamed because of their racial ethnicities. However, it becomes difficult when that dominates the entire discussion and zero Biblical and/or Patristic teachings. Anyways, thank you and I look forward to some discussions on here.

I can tell you are probably not Serbian as if you are you wouldn't be too surprised and shocked by some of the bad behavior though if it helps you there are such people you described in Russian or Greek church, there is no perfect place that fresh converts from protestantism typically expect to find in Orthodoxy. You should know by now that the wicked one has good reasons why he is doing these things and why we are even arguing on the internet about all this. Orthodoxy will always be his primary target. Everybody knows what it would take. Switching the calendar is non-negotiable. Condemning ecumenism (and MEANING it) is non-negotiable. Leaving ecumenical organizations is non-negotiable. The seminary system, currently designed as an anti-ecumenist filter system, needs to be purged of modernism, ecumenism and Sergianism. Remove the Sergianist "saints" from the Russian calendar. Putting my name saint (St Joseph of Petrograd) on the calendar would be nice. Being honest about history is necessary. Until those things all happen, we're just going to keep growing. I don't know his take, and frankly I don't pay attention to him. I know he prayed with a Uniate recently and then played dumb about it. True Orthodox really have their own things to deal with, so we don't spend our days trying to reflexively answer the New Calendarists. I meant it when I said I wouldn't have bothered to make this video if it hadn't been pointed to me on the feast of the Cross.

@@panokostouros7609 If all these things happened, then the pro-union elders would be right that the hierarchy as it stands would be defending the true faith, so I'd have no counter-argument to doing so, since that is what they are claiming. However, since that's not what they're doing, it's more likely that these considerations will not be taken seriously until True Orthodoxy makes up over 35-40% of the total Orthodox population (my estimate is that it's at around 10-20% depending on country). So in theory, these things will resolve in due time, just not how people expect.

Thank you brother .If hes real Ortodox he wouldnt have locked away 2 most important things on his channels - The Ortodox Survival Courses by St. Seraphim Rouz.. you can watch them if you pay 5 euros and then another 5 if you want it in pdf format... I payed it so i can see those courses as i need something like that in my life but on his live sessions he ignores every single one of my questions which are real and asking about real stuff not the fantasy questions and soft one he chooses to answer. He didnt even answer my mails asking him about demonic attacks and everyday struggles. Yesterday i sent him mail requesting a refund and he answered to that one in few hours :) Im Serbian Ortodox and my church follows the old calendar but for sake of not dividing people they have the new one also, but anyway calling us old calendarists and saying St. Paul is wrong in the New Testament for saying we should not be in communion with other christians that need to repent and come back to real Church of Christ which is the Ortodox Church. Hes teaching has so many inconsistencys too. I got muted for the duration of whole live stream for asking some real questions. Does he know that Serbian Ortodox Church is only one that did not sing the ultimatum from Pope? Serbs only reason we still have Ortodox church today since all other Patriatchs singed it giving supreme power to Pope over all christians, since they were asking for help to fight the Ottomans and this was Vaticans ultimatum. Meanwhile Serbs were only one in the middle of the war fighting in alone vs biggest power on the planet at that time the Ottomans - which they defeated, also killing their emperor Murat, at the battle of Kosovo 1389, greatly outnumbered, where most of Serbs died in battle along with our emperor St. Knez Lazarus. The one of few remaining Serbian knights Vuk Branković fought the ottomans to the very end, which whom they now call traitor (ones who believe official history) Hes the one who told Serbian Patriarch he will hang him publicly if he goes to Venice to sing that ultimatum. After they people heard this there were uprisiings, Russian patriarch got executed publicly, the one in constaninopoul got replaced and so on...
