I have been sitting under Pastor almost 20 years learning The Grace Message. All of Andrew's teaching and preaching have been Jesus centered. As Andrew has said many times, Jesus Plus Nothing. Listen, if you will to Christian radio/TV and you will see as much or more Pastor/Teachers speaking on Old Testament or certianly not the Gospel. Stick with a Gospel message and you WILL grow in God's Grace. Love in Jesus for you who watch or comment. God Bless, Brad from Missouri near St. Louis.

Yes, salvation is Jesus, “by grace you have been saved through faith, it is a gift of G-d that no one should boast.”However, if you want to know which sins, which trespasses make us dead ((yes, we were all born into sin (missing the mark of perfection)), if you want to know what sin is, you look to the Law. In Jesus, he has fulfilled the Law and we are no longer under the Law IN JESUS plus nothing. However, we hide his WORD in our hearts that we might not SIN against HIM. How do we define sin without the Law? How do people know they need THE Savior? The world thinks they are just fine today. They don’t need G-d. They are right in their own eyes because they don’t know the Law that they have broken. And let’s be clear, Jesus didn’t say don’t follow the Law, He just said that the Law will NOT make us right in G-d’s eyes. He also said that the greatest commandments were to “Love the L-rd G-d with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and your neighbor as yourself.” THAT IS THE LAW, Torah, that Jesus was quoting. Then he said ALL the other Laws came out of these. JESUS CONSTANTLY QUOTED THE Old Testament. PRIMARY SOURCE How many times does the NEW Testament refer back to the OLD Testament. Andrew, what WORD was made flesh and dwelt among us? I’m trying to understand American Church culture, and the culture makes ZERO sense. Christians’ lifestyles in this country make ZERO sense. You amalgamate Passover with a mythical egg laying bunny and have Easter egg hunts at the church house. You SAY it’s just a building but you employ the reverential attitude of the synagogue toward your buildings. You interpret scriptures in the context of the modern era without considering the historical context in which they are written. Cite your Old Testament sources when quoting the NT. Cultural context, historicity, AND LINGUISTIC understanding are essential for examining a text. Dr. Farley, as an academician, you know this. The Law is a hard tutor, but at least it’s a tutor. And if the Law is perfect, if the G-d of the universe chose to be born into Jewish culture, why wouldn’t people who are following Jesus embrace that culture? Oh, and you people claim that Sunday is now the sabbath! Where did THAT come from? The POPE! So that the CHURCH could identify Jews and persecute them. YOUR so called CHRISTIAN practices make ZERO Biblical sense.

Or have you hit the stumbling stone namely Christ Jesus and his finished works for Salvation threw Faith alone being sufficient for complete atonement, past present and future in Christ Jesus threw faith. My ancestors were gentile not Jewish people. I wasn't given anything you did under the Old Covenant. Praise God for I to would have failed miserably to please God under the Old Covenant given to God's chosen by to be his people and continue to be under the New Covenant built on better promises. I was Alienated from the promises of God and without hope. Today because of the great kindness and Long-suffering unwavering Love for humanity and his will to tear down the wall of hostility in order to establish a Salvation and relationship with God all in the finished works by Faith alone Fully equipped and approved justified by God for Salvation by faith alone I believe everything required for Salvation under the Old Covenant built on better promises in the new covenant established and as a result of the generousity For me know the Truth about Christ Jesus and the good news for Salvation threw Faith in him.I don't understand all the Torah, Sabbath day, teachings of Moses or the law's, But the mystery previously hidden in Christ Jesus I am fully aware of. Because of the message of good news a beautiful Gift From God. I didn't do anything for my salvation, i had nothing to do with it... IT was a gift and his Grace broke me one one hand, and delivered a great awakening that saved me..By Faith alone I believe the good works he began in me he will finish... Genealogy utterly meaningless to me...What matters is Christ Jesus Crucified and Christ Jesus risen that's the Foundation we are building on today by faith... ❤

@ Jesus and Paul were Torah observant Jews. I didn’t do anything for my salvation of the finished work of the cross upon which my Savior, and my G-D, and my King died. I can’t do better than the blood of the Passover Lamb Y’shua-and I want to be like him and He was a Torah observant Jew. I’m not saying anyone else needs do it but I love Him and want to obey Adonai. I don’t have to be Torah observant, I GET TO! I want to. I learn so much from following so much of what Jesus said and did back to the ANCIENT Jewish roots from whence it came. I enjoy having Saturdays off. My son’s birthday was on Shabbat of this year and we celebrated in a rather American way (I think-my son is a teenager and he wanted his friends over for a party and to my dismay, NOT ONE whole family attended?! They just dropped their children off at an entire stranger’s house (I knew a couple of the kids, but no one called me). The parents just left their kids at my home. I’m so confused. Anyway, we did not have a traditional Shabbat, but I made it a point to thank Y’shua for being my Sabbath rest. I’m just enjoying the journey following my Lord, resting in His Word, leaning on the promises and counting my many blessings. I pray you are too. Shalom

@@DuaneBeliveau You said you don’t understand all of Torah, Sabbath…neither do I. I just hope that all Christians would just read their bibles and study them because their culture does not line up with the Word. I have all the answers. You have all the answers. Jesus. Just read who and what He quoted, backtrack that to the OT and ask the Father. I’ve lived in five different countries with five different cultures all claiming that their culture was what the Creator had in mind, and they were SO different with different rules, different applications of scripture…and they all claimed they were Christians and their own rules contradicted each other. I’ve studied Torah since I was four years old. The Almighty set up a culture for the Israelites, the culture that Almighty sent his Son to be trained in AND EXPOSE the hypocrisy bc they too had strayed from their culture, but Jesus fulfilled the LAW which was what the Jewish culture was built on. And understanding the culture and language and history of a people makes one better understand the texts written in that culture, for that culture, and by that culture. I don’t try to fulfill the Law; I’m not an idiot. Jesus fulfilled it so I don’t have to, but He gave me an owner’s manual for the vehicle, why would I follow a Ford manual when I drive a Lexus, common sense. And my common sense says if Adonai created a whole culture based on the Law and Jesus was born into and followed that Law perfectly, why would I not want to do the same? Why would I choose American culture over Jewish culture? Scripture says the traditions of man make the Word of G-d of none effect. Why follow the traditions of man? Why not read the Bible and follow it? Like I said, and I’m not saying it as much anymore bc quite frankly, I’m tired of arguing. Believe what you want but DO NOT tell me American Christian culture is better than the ancient Jewish culture that Christ was born into bc I’m just going to laugh in your face, say, “Bye, bye 👋” and leave. So, bye, bye.
