If I remember correctly, I’ve heard that cooking while not wearing gloves can actually be more sanitary than wearing gloves! You just have to make sure that you frequently wash your hands between tasks and make sure your hands don’t have any wounds or injuries. Unless if you change them frequently, wearing the same pair of gloves to handle and touch all sorts of ingredients (especially raw ingredients like raw dough or chicken) can possibly cause cross-contamination. However, it’s a different story when the food is already cooked or ready to serve/eat
