She's terrific- fascinating stuff! I brought up the idea of propagation on Mars being different from Earth (never thought about that!) with some club members and it really stimulated some interesting discussions. Slinky visualization- very effective. Love the suggestion of visualizing the ionosphere as clouds- you can start to understand why QSB sounds like it does. This really helped me get my head around some aspects of our hobby.

Not necessary a question for Dr. T., for the lack of atmosphere on Mars, could we put a or many robot(s) in the asteroid belt to send lunch box to bar fridge sized projectile material to Mars to both add to its mass and add water (ice) to grow mars to a functional planet with a better atmosphere (still much thinner than earth because of its having no spinning core). Being small such objects would not offer any real ground risk on the Earth if we miss Mars.
