I was there in 2018 and the Nubian people there are beautiful. You have to go with a huge amount of patience as they are desperately trying to sell their wares the moment you step off the boat. I visited one of their schools and I was very impressed by the smart children. If I ever have the opportunity to visit Egypt again I would spend all my time in the Nubian villages.

I went to Egypt years ago. I was saddened to see McDonald's across from the sphinx. The Nubians are beautiful people. I enjoyed the history in the Cairo museum. If you go wear comfortable shoes, plenty of sunscreen, a hat to guard you from the sun, and ladies, some places require you to cover your head and arms...at least that's how it was when I was there.

I had the most amazing time traveling Egypt, but that was a long time ago when I went on a Nile cruise with my parents. Our guide was fantastic and we were kind of in a protected bubble. I felt like I hadn't properly seen the country because we were in a group the whole time. When I ventured out just with my Dad to a market it was crazy but fun. I wouldn't have felt comfortable on my own there though. Valley of the Kings was an absolute highlight and I would definitely recommend, especially with a good local guide. I usually travel independently and very cheaply, and I'm not sure if that type of trip to Egypt would work now after seeing your videos.

Thanks for the content on Nubian people. The part of the world that you are in women native to the land are covered up, but generally tourist women aren't going to look that way, so when they see a foreign women....well you know men's minds start to wonder in many ways. The way that you dressed in Afghanistan looking more like the local women, that look in Egypt would probably help men to stay away more. I'm not suggesting you do, you dress as you wish, but this is my take on this matter. Yes, being with a man certainly helps women travelers to be left alone. Egypt is rich in history, I have respect for their history as well as others' history. But Egypt also gets overrated in my opinion. It's romantized but everyone's history and culture has it's "good, bad and ugly" and I feel it's too superficial for societies to ignore this about their own history and others. I have enjoyed the content you're doing in Egypt because along with many, something about Egypt fascinates.

Dearest Selina, I have to disagree with you on this one. I was completely covered this day of the video at the start of the video you see me in a mans XL polo and mans Large baggy jeans...You don’t see me everyday 90% of the week im in extremely baggy clothes and the behavior towards me doesn’t change. This is my 7th time coming to Egypt and the behavior has been the same everytime. And Egyptian women arent all muslim alot of them show skin and wear tight clothes. I find that appropriate behavior isnt about how im dressed but about the level of respect that person has for me or for women in general.

If they were here in America, we'd buy ALLL that shit up! Ive spent time in Cairo W. HOT ASS A BEAST and BUSSSSSY and someone is always trying to sell you things. I will be visiting your site soon for some shopping. I LOVE EGYPT for its ANCIENT Culture. Youre right, the men there do act THIRSTY... super Aggressive. Be safe over there.

That's not a true statement! The original Egyptians are the Nubian people and they will always survive!

@@Maryjanebyarmbut in this case you’re just focusing on a negative point rather than ‘the’ point. Who is to say that? Populations can bounce back from small numbers also those same people exist in greater numbers in Sudan.
