Yes I’ve lived in 10 country’s. Ph 🇵🇭 and THAILAND 🇹🇭 are the age gap countries where an old cat in his 70’s with income if $1500 per month can pull a sweet, hot gf/wife in her 20’s. -30’s *Nothing wrong with that Grandaddy! 💃🏽🕺🏽Not impossible but pretty tall order and not easy to do the same in Europe, SoAmerica and Mx ! I really like to see positive attitudes with these couples. Young men take a long time to mature in most cases, so to me it seems the best for both husband and wife to fill the needs of the other no matter the age gap, love is love at any age. One of the most popular show host in the Philippines 🇵🇭 is Showtime host Vice Ganda who said “Love doesn’t know Race, Religion, Age or Gender” he is correct. You were very polite Paul when mentioning travel …. I think one of the misperceptions of critics of age gap relationships is that they are focused on what they think is the primacy of visual physical attraction. Yet, in age gap relationships, it isn’t that the women are physically attracted to us but that physical attraction just doesn’t matter to the women as Baby Mae said. A good many of these critics are young and just can’t imagine any other way of thinking. I can also see how men who have daughters would object to these relationships by not being able to separate the emotions of a father/daughter relationship from the actions of two adults who choose the be together regardless of the age gap. A 40 year old woman is still a child in their eyes if the woman is seen with a man over 60.

@@LindaLowther That was the point of my post you didn’t understand. Of course they don’t flock to us because we are sexy but it also doesn’t matter to them. Money matters to some extent, as it does in the US, but personality, maturity, etc. matter too. If someone were to think that physical attraction was a dealbreaker in a genuine relationship then I would think that is a pretty shallow point of view. The Social Security checks are in $$, which if you are single, is not a lot of money even in Thailand. It gives you a pretty modest life and just barely qualifies for a retirement extension. SS + a relationship means it goes less far. It’s not going impress any woman once they figure it out.

Yes, people will tolerate a lot if they are poor, maybe have a chance at a house or western citizenship, etc. but they don't actually ENJOY sleeping with old men. I know someone who learned Thai and heard what these women say behind their husbands' backs and it aint pretty. Believe or not, up to you. They are regular women, not from a different planet.

There’s so many factors in the age gap relationship, there so many downsides Ie the time with your partner and especially so if there’s kids involved. I live in the phil’s and so many of the age gap relationships are purely built on monetary value, the guys wanting a career..maid etc. But suffice to say there’s a lot of great relationships, Asians are especially loyal. The Filipina are like super glue …they will stick with ya through think and thin. GLTA.

Paul's take on Phuket was disappointing, just a little too jaded while focussing far too much on being hustled by street vendors and the bar scene which is really only predominant in one place, Patong. A more balaced comparison would include discussion of things like infrastructure, access to modern amenities, food, culture, cost of living etc. Dumaguete, by many accounts on KZbin, is hardly the most desirable place to live in the Philippines, has it's own bar scene, dodgy infrastructure and influx of "passport bros".

The restaurant waitress thing is not any true measure, especially when it comes to USA Restaurant owners are so cheap, they want the customer to pay their staff as well. Waiter / waitress in USA fully focused on driving the bill up to get a percentage of the tip, many with bad attitudes as they feel they have a shit low paying job and do the min to serve tables, also many slip in the extra drink or cheese cake etc the trend is they do it more times by adding on things, than forgetting items, a real give away, last but not least, say 2 go for lunch, bill comes to $22, customer gives $50, the a-hole waiter says "do you want the change" So this thing about measuring quality on the way waiter is treated, is a pretty shitty measure especially in USA when it's tip driven Why would you treat someone with respect if they don't earn it, and earn it means tips as restaurant owners won't pay them well, not my effing fault

I’ve always observed how a potential partner treats servers. Do they treat the person with respect or do they look down on them as someone having a low paying job? Are they empathetic enough to realize that there could be circumstances driving the server’s behaviors? It’s really a matter of determining if the person has empathy and emotional maturity. It’s not a perfect measure, but it can be a red flag.
