@winz4418 that's already the case for the other multi-turn moves but honestly this one will actually be threatening once we have the reworks to fog, because immediate 140 base power we were so worried about chienta spamming solar punch, but at this point this is the bigger threat since jamie confirmed that the melee attack boost just won't happen from solar punch under fog

@winz4418 I personally use em (specifically plunge) as a way to save myself from moves I know will kill (samarine is becoming my goat so fast), so I'm kinda used to that then again plunge is technically the only multi-turn move without an immunity, since the only loomians with them have better abilities, dokumori is the only scary one despite spine break being more common since no one expects sponge much

I mean you can run nymesis with it, only problem unfortunately is that freeze will be the only usable status is freeze since both paralysis and burn will hinder (paralysis will definitely be bad once it gets reworked), sleep renders you useless for a little, so freeze will definitely be useful

You're forgetting freeze is also getting reworked to be a ranged version of burn. So only downside besides the negligible chip damage is the fact you cant really use deep freeze. ​@@fnafplushultimate6792

you could use both snagoop and dokumori to deal with it snagoop has an immunity to undermines, but unfortunately can't remove poison barbs dokumori can however still remove the barbs, and you could run sponge just in case they have something like ganderveil for the barb setter you could also probably invest in something like stratusoar since none of borealisk's moves actually hit it hard enough (and an added immunity to undermine)

@Butter_Than_You freeze would probably be the best since it's getting reworked to be burn but ranged also paralysis won't lower speed anymore, it's getting reworked to stop the passive energy regain (which isn't useful to borealisk since its energy stat is low for that SPECIFIC reason of the passive energy system burn and paralysis become hindrances, sleep won't be too common after the nerfs aside from metronette, so definitely freeze since it's not a ranged attacker
