Tony, loved the new segment. It's very complimentary to tac lesson. Thank you!

Really cool lesson with plenty to explore in more depth. The way to link open position scales to the same scale further up the neck was a real eye-opener. Looking forward to seeing more like this in the future. Keep up the good work Tony!

Thanks for the lesson behind the lick. I appreciate it because it because after a TAC lesson I am often left wondering where to take this new lick. From one guitar geek goalie to another, please keep them coming.

Loved this lesson ! Where 2 of my problems that I know of are kinda addressed. inergrating.. just recently started to discover the correlation between the 2 different scales horizontal and vertical. And intergrating/joining together that jumping!! Been looking for that bit! Thanks.. !

Love the lesson behind the lick Tony. I’m working on horizontal pentatonics right now. Perfect timing and very well taught. You gave me lots of fun ideas for practicing this 🍻

I liked this segment and it goes well in venues other than blues. Gives me something to doodle with in front of wheel of fortune or news

Tony, tuesday is my favourite guitar day of the week. The first reason is your acoustic tuesday show. It's always fun to watch and so inspiring. Second reason is the guitar lick challenge. I'm always waiting for this little lick, because all of them are sounding very musical and especially when they have a little bluesy touch, i can't put away my guitar. The third reason is, there are three more days/guitar challenges in that week ! By the way, i have noticed you are wearing a T-shirt from the latest album of JON GOMM. May i see this as a hint for an upcoming Jon Gomm feature ? I would love to watch it. Thanks, Hendrik W. from Germany

Cool! Yes to that single string scale segment! How about an in-depth course in manipulating single string and vertical scales - as sort of overall theory rather than practice in individual keys?

Bouncing off the open (1) string also when playing the scale enables you to move your hand position to a better position up the neck and use all the fingures apove fret 5

Great video, thank you. Can you tell me exactly what guitar you are playing at the very start of the video (the sunburst)? It’s beautiful. Also, what is your favorite guitar neck?
