The difference is that other nations will have their vehicles lowered in BR when they're substantially underperforming. US vehicles will either suffer with underperformance or, in the case of this vehicle, simply be removed, despite them frequently and regularly getting moved up in BR for overperformance. The only non-US vehicle to be removed was the 105 Tiger II because it was only ever a paper concept, not because it was over- or under-performing.

Honestly I quite like the M26E1. You don't have the extra armor of the T26E1-1, sure, but that also means you don't have the *extra weight* of that armor, which is about 8 or so tonnes. Not to mention that the extra armor itself is structural steel in game (except on the mantlet which is just RHA), so its effectiveness isn't as big as the thickness alone suggests. On top of that, the M26E1 actually has a noticeably faster reload. This is even more so the case when both tanks (T26E1-1 and M26E1) run out of their respective ready racks, as the M26E1 gets only a 1.17 multiplier to its reload, while the T26E1-1 gets 1.6, making it far slower. Oh yeah coaxial .50 cal is also always a plus.

I wish they didn’t remove the tank, wasn’t it actually historical? I just got the jumbo Pershing and working to get the m26, and after hearing there’s something that actually deserves to sit in 6.7 (unlike the Pershing, it’s more 6.3. Also lower the t25’s br!) in the game, that got removed for “balance issues”. that’s something I would hear from gaijin knowing that most American tanks are clearly overtired and they can’t have anything that is op in a down tier and doesn’t struggle in an up tier.

@@Sebaleroma They likely removed the tank simply because it wasn't selling much. But it comes back every 4th of July now, that's when I bought mine. ​ @dzimi9281 The M26E1 is it's own designation, separate from the T26E4 tanks. Also there were 25 T26E4s built.

@@Sebaleroma T26E4 is another version of the T26 tanks. The Super Pershing (T26E1-1 in game) is one of these T26E4s, which can be seen a precursors to the M26E1. They had new 90 mm cannons with longer casings and longer barrels allowing them to fire the same 90 mm projectiles as the 90 mm M3 found on the normal M26 but at far higher velocities. The M26E1 took that a step further by using a new cannon that used slightly shorter yet far wider casings when compared to the normal 90 mm M3, achieving the same performance as the older long 90 mm cannons, but making it so it was much easier to handle the rounds inside the turret, making reloading far easier, at the cost of less ammunition stowage.

That would often be bad for the game, though. There's many cases of vehicles not being available due to being hard to balance, so they remove them for the sake of game health while letting people keep content they paid for. Obviously it's not entirely benevolent, but "all vehicles should be obtainable" is not really a good idea.

This could reveal greater flaws with the game and allow Gaijin to transform it into a better version than before. You gotta try to push through what you struggle with in order to overcome and rise above, nothing is won from giving up.

The T26E5 and Super Pershing are both really good, somehow the T26E5's mantlet cover protects it from being overpressured by 155mm HE. U got shot by the Type99 with the E5 and managed to survive without damage.
