My buddy worked at Dunkin' for years, and he came up with a sandwich pretty similar to this. Toasted English with butter. Peanut butter on bottom. Grape jelly on top. Breakfast sausage, cheese, bacon, cheese in between.

Maaaaannnnn…..we used to go to a place in MD when we were up there to a place called The Green Turtle. They used to have a killer PB&J burger but took it off the menu. Definitely doing this! I like the comments and trying different jellys….the flubitty dub of peanut butter is definitely required! Awesome job as always!

Looks good guys! A peanut butter and jelly smashburger sounds good to me. I would go for it. I wonder if using Reese's peanut butter cups would add to the flavor with chocolate with it? Or adding some friend cheese curds? Now you are talking. Some sweet and salty to the mix. I would love to try this though. Looked so good. That jelly probably added a good sweet to the burger. So do you not use oil on your griddle? I’m on my second going on third replacement top and I always use avacado oil . Is the oil my problem? Everything sticks to my tops

Hey brother! It could be - over time the oil will start to season the griddle. The non stick should not have oil buildup on it. Keep us posted though! We’ve found a ton of success with little-to-no-oil - the Sierra we have hat Brett’s still looks brand new with almost 200 cooks and a year and a half old.🤙🤙

I put Smucker’s grape jelly in my homemade BBQ sauce. You are correct to use JIF over Peter Pan. I use Peter Pan for a PB&J, but you have to use JIF when cooking, especially peanut butter cookies, to get the peanut flavor. Don’t know why, it just is better.

Is it Flubitty or Flubiddy Dub? Or, Flubbity or Flubbidy? Either way I'm game. I used to do this as a kid. I usually used boysenberry or marionberry jam. You know what you can do is make Bacon Jam!! But yeah, bacon and peanut butter together is so good... love it with a little honey or maple syrup too. Raw onions and/or Pickles are great with peanut butter too. I really love Cheddar and American cheeses with PB as well, in fact, I love making grilled pb and cheese sandwiches. Hmmmm, what about a Monte Cristo Smashburger?! Man, or use breakfast sausage instead of beef and add some maple syrup. Okay, off to bed hungry again! Griddle On!

So I'm skeptical, but open to everything. Remember, salt isn't a taste, it's a flavor enhancer. I'd put the grape jelly with a healthy dose of salt in the fridge the day before. I guarantee the flavor profile is changed. Taste it, and maybe add a splash of vinegar or citrus. Definitely no cheese on this (and I'm a cheese whore). I would also try something a bit more "gourmet" with fig jam, and tahini. Both great flavors I enjoy. Fig and lamb burgers I'm thinking. Love the experimenting, and griddle on!!
