Why Does Vigil HATE Mozzie? - Rainbow Six Siege Lore

So Rainbow Six Siege has alot of different relationships between operators, and one of them is between both Vigil and Mozzie.. with Vigil stating on multiple occasions that he has a heavy disliking towards Mozzie, even threatening him. So that begs the question, why do these 2 Ghosteyes operators hate eachother so much!?!?

In Mozzie's video with gridlock, you can see that Mozzie isn't that patient...he wants action... I could see that someone like Vigil who prefers to rest hidden/stay unseen that he would dislike someone with such an over the top energetic personality like Mozzie... like Vigil knows the risks, he knows that people will die (either him or his enemies) and he dislikes how Mozzie sees everything like some kind of a game/adrenaline rush?

Well, remember, Vigil and Mozzie are on the same squad right now, which is strange considering their relationship. Now, Doc and Lion are on the same team, so they are clearly able to work together well enough to not scream at each other about past incidents. With Vigil and Mozzie, apparently work well together enough now to be in the same squad. Or Cav might just have to make sure her two most over the top children don’t kill each other. The Emo one and the loud MF.

It's actually pretty simple. Mozzie is the kind of guy that dosen't shut up and thinks everything is just a big game, until someone gets seriously hurt or even killed. He is in a CTU, he has a big responsibility but behaves like a teen on too much hormones. We also see that Mozzie dosen't calculate risks in the Stadium Cinematic. He just stands up and starts blasting as soon as he sees enemies, gets shot in return AND on top of that gets Doc "killed". He dosen't behave like someone who safes and protects people from terrrorist actions, he behaves like someone who played to much CoD and somehow was put into a CTU. Vigil wears a mask to hide his identity, Mozzie "hides" his face by wearing a big ass Motocross helmet, putting his last name on his chest and talks openly about his family... Mozzie is probably the kind of guy Vigil hates the most in his profession. He is loud, probably the first one to get killed because of sheer ignorance and he puts his own Team in danger with his behavior. Edit: That dosen't mean that Mozzie is unskilled or unftting for his job, it's just that he dosen't take his profession serious enough and is prone to errors because of that. The thing is that his profession dosen't allow rough mistakes, because every mistake means that someone might or will die.

How Mozzie made it onto Ghosteyes is beyond me, he’s the exact opposite of what they stand for outside of intel. Also I want to see more interactions between operators within the game, an example being these two having arguments like what is talked about here.

It kinda makes a little sense when you consider his gadget. Anti intel and counter intel. Mozzie can deny enemies gaining intel and use it against them. It works when you consider Ghost Eyes ops are trying to remain hidden. While Mute in my opinion would have made for a better option, since he’d enjoy the quiet environment and probably wouldn’t mind some of the ops in the squad, Mozzie does do what they do: ensure their locations and identities are a secret. Also, Mozzie is tiny so he can sneak around under everyone’s nose being 3’3

@@mack-MXR- Stealth isn’t their only speciality. It’s also intel and the denial of intel. Vigil and Mozzie deny intel. Valkyrie gains intel with her cameras that are difficult to spot. Warden can see through smoke and is immune to flashes with his glasses up, which is good because he can get a read on enemies through smoke. Glaz works as a back line and a sniper is good for stealth missions and assassinations. Zofia makes sense because she gets intel off her stuns. Remember, the concussions detonate when they get close to people as well. Flores works because his gadget is drones that can get into the back and disrupt enemy utility. If that doesn’t make sense and why isn’t Twitch or Mute in Ghost Eyes, Twitch’s drone is louder and her zap is non lethal which works better for Wolfguard, and Mute honestly should have been on Ghost Eyes with intel denial, but he’s with the mixed bag with Hibana’s squad.

I think it has to due with their personality. Mozzie is the high energy, always in the action. He can't sit still. Whereas Vigil is more calm and calculated.

their falling out could have been caused by an incident with a vigil as the victim. let's say, a training exercise. vigil comes in contact with an enemy and engages in 1 single room. one of mozzie's drones sees the enemy too but not vigil due to his gadget. mozzie goes in guns blazing or with a nitro cell. and hurts vigil in some way.

I know it might sound dumb but I think it could be Vigil is Envious of Mozzie due to the fact that Mozzie has a loving Family and is also quite Vocal about it. You can hear some lines in game about Mozzie talking about his family in some ways. Most of, if not all of Vigils family are gone and he probably sees Mozzie as something that is Unfair towards him. Just a guess though

I think it has something else with personality. Now this is major well known lore, but Gridlock is a strong but silent type girl. When she speaks, she chooses her words carefully. Then there's Mozzie, the guy who just doesn't know when to shut up. He's just got to talk and talk and talk. Now Vigil is no strong silent type guy, but he probably was with Mozzie in a training exercise and his constant jabbering drove him nuts, and as others has pointed out, his energy as well.

Well it probably more with their personality clash Mozzie is a very outgoing person that like making a spectacle of himself while vigil’s life taught him the opposite so Vigil just finds Mozzie irrationally annoying lots of ops find Mozzie annoying like cab and doc but they don’t hate him and maybe Mozzie just started on vigil’s bad side and on one training day Vigil has had enough of him and flys off the handle
