7:00 he’s exactly right. I’ve hit masters playing on hit Yorick(Bork) first item. Don’t gotta follow step by step build paths and strats. Yorick is versatile and it’s highly dependant of your macro and pressure! (FOR ME AT LEAST)

Yeah the only weakness I've seen that Yorick has this season is the teammates I get sometimes.

This is why I prefer Fighter items with some Lethality items. Things like Sterak's Gage, Black Cleaver and Dead Man's Plate give him much needed survivability and movement speed while also giving him nice damage. Sterak's especially gives you a shock shield while also taking advantage of Yorick's very high base AD.

In his yorick season 14 guide it is explained . Lethality is now much stronger and that item is cheaper now so for early that item is strong and you build off of it further down as your third item .

im master and recently picked up yorick because i think he has a really cool concept going for him and hes interesting, but man this champ is the pyke of toplane, u get a billion gold and it doesnt matter because youre yorick. Ofc im still learning but dam, I didnt play him last season where seryldas was really good and ravenous was good, but that did look way better than his current build, and ofc hullbreaker. I do think the lethality build is really great on yorick tho if you pick it into good matchups who cant really kill you anyway

Sad thing is that it probably was the junglers fault not support but support did give up. Karma solod singed pre 10 mins and was 2-1-4 by 11. Kayn missing baron and drag back to back is essentially gg there and I wouldn’t necessarily give up at that point but I also understand.

I always say, Yorick is a great champion, but he hardly carries the game. I'm emerald and still, people in this link just want to do TF, start objectives without vision or with the lane retreated. With a decent team, that puts pressure on the lane while you split and pays attention to the map to see if they keep just pressing or engage, Yorick would carry easily, but it's not like that. I already lost the game 11/1, scoring 3 for my team to lose TF 4x2 at Baron and end the game

I think you have to go in with a realistic mindset and try to win every matchup but you just have to accept you’re weaker in some than others but you can improve to the point where the gap isn’t as big and you can punish more often.

It sucks to get griefed but every game is expected to be 3v5. In S13 you know you would have 1v9 carried confidently from the 8-2 or even 9-3 lead and been at their nexus taken 2 inhibs by then. bruh I think Yorick is bad and feels bad especially with what happened mid to late game here. It's just lethality is fun and broken on every champ now.
