on maru's point about starting to lose your friends i also understnad it in a way that its a indicator because your life isnt suppose to just revolve around you and your partner. when you start losing friends and having less and less contact with the ones around you, it's also you starting to lose yourself along the way. you spend so much time with your partner that you forget that yours friends are a part of you too. it could lead to losing more things like having your alone time, your passions, your family also because you focus so much on your partner.
