After Zakariya fully recovered from his fever and dealing with altitude sickness, it was time to explore the beautiful region of LADAKH in India.
For a family that love's a good beach, we really do end up in the mountains - A LOT! But this time, the experience blew us away.
When we arrived in Leh, we got a feeling that exploring the different areas of Ladakh would be a bit difficult because of the long tiring journey's to places such as Pagong Lake and Puga Vally. But we had a great driver who really looked after us, however some events really did take a turn for the worst and we had a run in with the Indian Military!

this is not a disputed area it's india. India is not only a country created in 20th century it is one of the oldest civilization on earth and this was always part of it. before British left India they split India into pieces and created Pakistan. not happy satisfied with the areas they got Pakistan invaded Kashmir gilgit baltistan and illegally occupying them since. it is like a son separated from his father not satisfied with the land he got attacking his own father grabbing his land and calling it disputed.

When I got my permit, the guy who signs them was in a meeting for 2hrs. There was an Israeli girl there who was on a tour. She hadn't known she needed a permit so when they arrived at checkpoint she couldn't pass. The whole bus full of people was outside the permit office waiting for her. Thanks to her they got the permit guy out of his meeting so it only took me 20mins

The Fact that a regular Taxi-Driver was not only arguing with The INDIAN Army but demanding compensation from them tells you what accountablity looks like in a Democracy No disrespect bro but the thumbnail was very Misleading and unnecessary Maligning other armies of subcontinent not only beat up locals for much less but forfeits their lands, develops DHA & then Sells plot to the smae locals🤣🤣

No it was actually because the army drove very dangerously in a huge truck, put our lives at risk by nearly toppling us over over a bridge and we had it all on camera hence why the driver was confident enough to demand some compensation….

@@FieldofVisions I apologise for the inconvenience caused to you & your family I agree with you they might have been wrong but it was an accident nobody purposefully does it, this is very common in these Mountain-Passes as roads are very narrow & compact with heavy Army movement there Its a tough ride i have also done it not going to justifying the accident, Just to emphasize the Privilege we Indians have to fight our own Army for compensation 😂😂 Have a good Stay here both of you PS: your kid is very CUTE 😀
