I interviewed him in 1995 prior to his performance with the Philadelphia Orchestra. He already was showing signs of his neurological condition during his performance -- I was a music reviewer at the time. We had a very congenial conversation and exchanged a lot of quips and humor. We got on so well, Charles Dutoit, the conductor, had to interrupt the interview which had extended far beyond the appointed time. One comment I'll never forget was when I asked him about his new-born son who wasn't mentioned in this video -- he had recently separated -- "What's there to say about babies? All they do is eat, sleep, shit, and that's it."

She wasn’t allowed because she was toxic and put him through hell. She even badly assaulted his biographer in a fit of rage, that is how violent she could be. Moore stayed in good terms with several of the women in his life : Suzy Kendall, Susan Anton, Brogan Lane, to name a few, who all had plenty of good things to say about him. He was not the problem in this 4th marriage.

I thought the story of him being a drinker wasn’t true.
