What’s amazing about Dwight is that though he lost some athleticism after Orlando, he saw the changing of the league where centers were expected to be great shooters, and he still had staying power where guys like Roy Hibbert couldn’t keep up. Jokic played his average against Dwight. People forget that back in the 2019-2020 season Jokic still wasn't the MVP, he still wasn't even in the conversation for the MVP. Dwight played good defense on him, but he didn't shut him down at all. Jokic averaged 22ppg in that series on good efficiency. For the 2019-2020 Jokic those were ok numbers.
