I remember the narrative from the '70s that everything about the earth, sun, and solar system is "ordinary" and "nothing special", which seemed to have a broad appeal among some people (probably for some psychological or sociological reason related to the times). The discoveries since then have really shown the opposite.

The ultimate evolution of chemistry is biology and the ultimate evolution of biology is consciousness. It took 4 billion years for consciousness to happen on earth regardless of life's origin. The warmer planets evolve faster, but we're at the inner edge of suns green zone; every star is a chemistry lab, given time it will have evolved life, but consciousness is so complex in its neural networks, that it's rare and abundant, just due to sheer numbers of potential planets. Admitting we found life already, different story...

When your 4 light year's from another star system your earth is rare even if there were many , theories are not facts no difference between a theory and conspiracy until its fact both have just enough truth to be believed

A theory is supported by facts; it's a detailed logical reasoning that provides an explanation of, and framework for, the processes that led to the hard data/evidence/facts that have been observed and collated. A conspiracy "theory" is rarely that well supported (unless it's true), and they're usually more comparable to a hypothesis, or for many of them, a psychotic break 🙃

He is missing one important consideration: what drives evolution is environmental pressures and the need to adapt. It is not snowball earth and volcanic CO2 emissions alone.
