@anniesshenanigans3815Ай бұрын
@@Jammer411 true but in reality you have to get to the ocean first. If you live in town, walking to the many stores or restaurants can be difficult. Living right on the ocean would be ideal.
@anniesshenanigans3815Ай бұрын
@@Jammer411 when I visited in 2021, the people we went to see near Pedasi had a house on the Ocean and two rentals on their property. Cute, tranquil and only about 400 a month at that time, and building another one. I would LOVE to live in the downstairs one right by the pool. But the other part is that you have to have a car to live there, it's out of town a ways.
@edithst-hilaire3824Ай бұрын
It is hot here, which is why I had to have a pool for cooling down on those hot days. But, I got acclimated pretty quickly, to the point where I don’t need AC… ceiling fans and cross breezes are perfect for me. But, the warmth is not for everyone.

Peace Edi, I'm a USAF vet that wants to explore the Pensionado Program. Do you suggest that?
@edithst-hilaire38247 күн бұрын
The Pensionado program in Panama is one of the best retirement programs in the world. To qualify, you must have verifiable minimum monthly income of US$1000.00 from a government program or private corporation. This could be Social Security or another government retirement fund, such as military, state retirement, police pension, etc., or retirement from a private corporation. For your spouse or minor children, your minimum income must be increased by US$250.00 per month per dependent.

Hi, I would like to know why your pets are so costly. I have a dog and two cats, but $500 in Europe would be insane. Is it normal in Panama, or do you buy special things for them?
@edithst-hilaire382428 күн бұрын
That’s a great question. We make special food for our pets and that can be costly. However, many pet owners choose to simply purchase kibble and that’s a lot more cost effective.
