I once worked in a local hospital with wards "1300" A and B, where my office space was in room 13, meaning I'm placed in 1313 literally. This is partially correct. 13 is considered unlucky, and the reason is because So in the ancient Mesopotamian civilization, a guy named Babylon created a a collection of 282 rules, established standards for commercial interactions and set fines and punishments to meet the requirements of justice. This is known as the Hammurabi code of laws, or the code of Hammurabi. For some mistaken reason, the 13th law was skipped, and the 14th law was written write after the 12th law.
