I love my Trauma Oil! When I am lazy, I use by itself on my foot. I broke my 5th metatarsal 3 months ago and now that I am out of my casts and boot, I use it when I is achy. Within a few minutes I get relief! Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful potions!

I have just made this recipe and it smells amazing! I can't wait to try it out :) I have a question though re the trauma oil...I made mine without the trauma oil but have all the base ingredients to make it myself. As far as I am aware St. Johns Wort is phototoxic. So does this mean that when using any blends that have trauma oil in them, or St. John's Wort infused oil in general, that we would need to be really careful with clients and sun exposure afterwards? It is possible to buy St Johns Wort oil that is non-phototoxic in the same way that it is possible to purchase citrus oils with the furocoumarins removed?
@aromatherapyoils3 жыл бұрын
This is a great question, Cherry! Taking St. John's Wort internally can cause photosensitivity, but when it is infused into a carrier and applied topically, it does not have the same effect. It is totally safe to use Trauma Oil or any products that contain St. John's Wort topically. Hope this helps to clarify 💖

Hello Komal! Roman Chamomile is the best oil we know for cramps. You could try a massage blend of 10 drops of Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) and 5 drops of Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) in 1 oz (30 ml) Trauma Oil. 💜

Do you have a recipe to inhale for tooth pain?
@aromatherapyoils6 жыл бұрын
Nicole a toothache could be a temporary condition or it could be more serious and involve an infection so we always recommend have your situation assessed by a dentist. In addition some people have found that hydrosols applied to the area can be comforting. Here's a trio you can try rinsing with like a mouthwash, and then spit it out, 1. Helichrysum hydrosol can help calm pain. 2. German Chamomile hydrosol can be soothing for inflammation. 3. Peppermint hydrosol be comforting for infection and inflammation. I hope this information is helpful.

Would this blend be safe for my 10 year old granddaughter?
@aromatherapyoils5 жыл бұрын
Hi Rita! The Trauma oil on its own would be excellent - it is so AMAZING to help relieve pain. We suggest trying that first and then if you prefer to add essential oils, you could also omit the Peppermint and reduce the blend to a 1% dilution. For young children we recommend a 1% dilution - that's 5 to 6 drops in 1 oz (30 ml) of carrier. 1 oz. (30 ml) Trauma Oil 3 drops Black Spruce (Picea mariana) 2 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) 1 drops Lemon (Citrus limon)

Hi Andrea! Just a few quick questions. I don't have any trauma oil on hand, bust in case like if someone runs out or doesn't have it, can we do this blend in Jojoba and in a roller bottle?
@aromatherapyoils6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, this can be blended in jojoba oil if you don't have trauma oil on hand. A roller bottle (one ounce size) would also ease application of this blend.

Hi Andrea, Thank you for uploading this video. Im sure it will b of big help in area of muscle swelling. Trauma oil is Not easily available in Australia. If available then it very costly in terms of postage as it will b coming from US. Is there an Alternative to Trauma Oil. Regards,
@julieadams74896 жыл бұрын
Vindimveer I have exactly the same question! The Trauma oil to buy here is SO expensive £17 for one ounce! I'd love an alternative base oil that would have a similar effect as Trauma oil
@aromatherapyoils6 жыл бұрын
Vindimveer and Julia, you can use any base carrier in place of the trauma oil if it is not available or too costly. The reason this is costly is because of the process that is needed to infuse the St. John's wort into the carrier oil is more involved than the other two herbs. If you can find arnica infused oil that would also be a good substitute, but if not the essential oils in the recipe will provide good relief without the trauma oil carrier.
