Curious, is there a reason for choosing the oz amount for each butter? For example, could you use 2 oz Shea and 1 oz of Cocoa Butter instead? TIA!!🌞

Do they have any aside effect if some one use it every day
@aromatherapyoils14 күн бұрын
Great question! There are so many factors involved when it comes to inhalation. We follow the safety information from Essential Oil Safety, Second Edition by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young, as they have compiled solid research and the most up to date resource on essential oil safety. According to their findings, it's difficult to establish safety guidelines on ambient inhalation such as diffusing. Some concerns can be bronchial hypersensitivity, sensory irritations and some asthma-like reactions, increased sensitivity to fragrant substances. So it would be wise to apply caution and exercise moderation in the use of oils for any routes. If they observe any adverse reactions such as headaches, difficulty breathing, irritation in the eyes and respiratory system, nausea, etc., they should stop immediately and have the room well ventilated and drink lots of water. Making sure the room is always well ventilated, and the pets are free to leave the space as they wish is a good idea. The Aromahead Approach is to make sure the room is always well ventilated, and the pets are free to leave the space as they wish and that we generally don’t find a need to diffuse intermittently for more than a few hours a day to glean the benefits of essential oils. 💜

@aromatherapyoils14 күн бұрын
For sensitive skin areas such as the bikini area, scalp or face, we generally recommend using a low 1% max dilution to avoid irritation. So sorry for the late reply! 💜

Can you substitute ceder for something else. Im allergic to it?
@aromatherapyoils14 күн бұрын
Essential oil substitutions always depend on the issue at hand, the intention of the blend, the person’s age, health, preferences… and so many other factors! For this particular blend, you could substitute Cedarwood with either Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) or Siberian Fir (Abies siberica). 💜

There are wildly differing opinions on pets and essential oils. As there is much involved, we believe working with pets takes specific education to ensure safety for our pets. We don't teach using essential oils for animals in-depth at Aromahead, but we provide a great training to our Aromatherapy Certification Program students about using oils around animals and pets. We also have an informative blog post that our co-education director wrote: blog.aromahead.com/using-aromatherapy-safely-with-pets-acp along with a spotlight class that you can check out here: www.aromahead.com/courses/aromatherapy-around-animals

It's wonderful to hear that you are able to create your own blends to help support your loved ones using the oils you have in your collection. Most essential oils can be easily substuted, and having knowledge of each oil's chemical, therapeutic, and aromatic properties can help you make the most informed decisions. 💜 All of the oils in this video can be found at www.aromatics.com. Aromatics International has also created wellness categories that provide solutions for the concerns customers face most often. These also signify the primary therapeutic and energetic usage of the essential oils. It’s a great guide for blending and you can discover more about that here: www.aromatics.com/pages/essential-oils-by-intention

Where do you buy your essential oils please?
@aromatherapyoils7 ай бұрын
Aromahead and Aromatics International (www.aromatics.com) are closely aligned and have worked together for over 10 years, curating a list of distillers for Aromatics who they know and trust. That said, we encourage students to work with companies they like. We recommend you work with a company that provides GC/MS reports, is transparent about distillation dates, and sources sustainably. This ensures quality and demonstrates accountability. We are happy to recommend some great oil companies to you though: Aromatics International, Essential Elements, Florihana, and Aliksir Distillery.
