Not that it matters but hall effect switches are used in heating systems too! they're used in proving motion! With the application you guys use it for, it should last 1000+ years! I hope this useless info made your day! 😃

I would generally consider myself a peaceful and patient person, but I’ve never been so angry as I have been trying to replace the string on an Ernie Ball VP 😅 Worth the cost of the Lehle alone! 13:45

I might be wrong but I'm guessing the hall sensors used in the expression and wah pedals work on the same principle as the ones you find in game controllers?
