Missed the live stream but checking in just to say that I recently added the Octa Psi to my board and it is one of the most thrilling pedals I’ve ever had the please of playing, it’s an absolute masterpiece!

As usual, excellent interviewMason and team. I think one interesting point is his move to SMT and the quality control which is not only physical inspection but it’s sonic inspection. I think the fact that he’s not outsourcing his work says a lot because it benefits his team grows internally or they add personnel. With regard to DSP, I have always loved developing algorithms that emulate analog, but also customize, and experiment. Thank you for supporting Robert, exciting times.

Keeley pedals are some of the best, period. Great sounding, low noise, rugged. Their customer service is also top notch. The Octa Psi is absolutely amazing and earned a permanent spot on my studio board (along with the Halo and Hydra). Robert seems like a great guy. Hope business picks up.

My love of the DS1 is what introduced me to Robert Keeley and his mods.

I feel bad for people in these times, in the post Covid economy. That have less money to spend on their hobbies. Anyone that works ought to be able to have money to invest into their hobbies, reap the fruits of their labor and not just have enough to pay their bills and feed their family. We all need an escape. Love Robert, he’s right down the street from me, literally. He’s a great person and has helped support my passion of writing by hiring me for freelance work (see Keeley’s recent blog posts). His company strikes a great balance between affordability, accessibility and innovation.

Totally agree with the magic of tube amps. There’s just something to using analog gear, the way a tube amp reacts, there are some exceptional emulations, particularly the UA stuff is amazing. With that being said, most players would still reach for the tube amp if they could, there’s a magic to them that has yet to be recaptured digitally.
