Is there any evidence that whole food vitamins are better than synthetic?

Thank you for this question! Many studies have shown that whole foods provide greater benefit than isolated nutrients. Some examples include: Whole buckwheat extract has greater antioxidant activity than isolated rutin, whole tomatoes deliver stronger benefits than lycopene alone. Carotenoids have greater benefit when paired with polyphenols. Broccoli and Brussels sprouts support detoxification better than isolated glucosinolate metabolites. A whole food blend can provide the synergistic components missing when taking synthetic vitamins and minerals in isolation. Resources: Hinneburg I. Pharmazie. 2006 (61):237-40. Lila MA and Raskin I.
