My range swing feels good and I can shape shots and make good contact but when I take it to the course I thin or fat alot of shots as the ball is not always on flat ground. How do I practice uneven lies other than on the course?

Been playing for a year now but iv only been playing a course for 9 months not had lessons yet. I play to all the rules and score low 90s high 80s. Would I benefit from lessons ad iv heard mixed things about lessons. 😊❤
