You're right, of course none of these "tricks" will help you, and I don't even have to watch this video to know it's another waste of time. Most 100k+ channels accumulated those numbers long before the oversaturation of YT market (somewhere before 2014), and whoever got those numbers later is probably controversial, bizarre, or extremely lucky. Anyway, nowadays at least YT is trying to promote new channels a bit, as many times something pops out at me on homepage that has 20 views or so. And you'll easily find out that it's about 99% of all channels on YT. It's just that most people don't come out of that 100k+ bubble and follow other creators because overall there just isn't that much time. Skill is uninteresting in my opinion, because anyone can easily achieve that (good edit and good audio), any kid under 15 can do that nowadays, as well as an appealing (preferably clickbait) thumbnail.

I’m never getting views and see random kids with the same videos but no editing and stuff and I’ve tried hundreds of these “tips” and they’ve never worked, wonder why? Cuz it’s luck and that’s why u never see small channels, bcs u don’t see them and that’s why they stay small, everyone u see gets pushed by the algorithm by luck and the ones with less views are the ones u never see, it’s pure luck.

I’m going to guess at least one of the reasons is the same reason as to why your friends on average have more friends than you. In a nutshell the reason why your friends have more friends then you do is that most people are friends with the people with lots of friends so unless your that person with lots of friends you’ll almost always have less friends than your friends. Same basically applies to KZbin, most people aren’t popular on KZbin, which means you’re most likely not popular on KZbin.
