As far as living in Waikiki we did it for our first 6 months it was super convenient, we left our car in TX and did not miss it one bit. We walked everywhere and loved every mile of it. Sounds like EV cars are no cheaper then gas cars.. EV's are heavy.. plus I heard electricity is expensive in Hawaii..
