Blue Beatle was such a great, fun, heart felt classic super hero movie. I agree it was a breath of fresh air. I don't think they need to rush Blue Beatle to meeting the bigger heros. Like you said, its fun to see the smaller intimate side of the hero worlds. Speaking of seeing Blue Beatle in Young Justice. If you haven't seen the show i highly recommend it. Would be great content to review for the channel too. Blue Beatle plays a major role in Season 2.

I went in casually curious and had a blast watching; to me the comedy really did hit 🎯 The family element is what is unique about this type of super hero. This makes him much more relatable, especially all the easter eggs they put for us Mexican American households

I got introduced to blue beetle in the injustice games and I just never was intrested but the movie actually was really good and strengthened the characters personality to me. Very solid! Also 3:57 I’m already subbed so I won’t see blue beetle in my house today but for those who haven’t and want to see him drop a sub. I heard he’s a very nice guy 😏

You should watch the show Young Justice. Really well written super hero show about the sidekicks forming their own team. Blue Beatle's story is the main arc of Season 2 and is a great introduction to him.

Blue beetle sequels Tone: don’t be afraid to go darker. Some of the best moments are when Jaime suffers. Don’t be afraid to say God. Who says “the cosmos”? Jaime prays biblical prayer at one point so be consistent. Having a clear belief system for a character helps us understand his thought process and relate better. Things Blue Beetle Sequels should keep in mind/improve: other scarabs which were alluded to in beginning space scene (I am personally more interested in more scarabs than past heroes); romance: Jamie and Jenny (Peter and Gwen from TASM and TASM2 is my favorite hero couple) find Jaime and Jenny’s similarities and motives such as career goals. Speaking of which career goals: what is Jaime and Rudy’s Jobs? Security? Inventor? Lawyer? How do they pay bills & food? villains: did any family exist among the previous security detail that was killed? Could their family/colleagues want revenge despite receiving life insurance from the very company they work for? Could they find a scarab of their own? What happens to Scarab when host dies? This could help bring Jaime in conflict with his family’s attitude to killing which contrasts with his own morals. Action: most of the fighting is great. keep it diverse even for fights without Jaime. For example when Beetle Ship crashes it could have been hit with an RPG and shaken so audience has reference when Jaime deflects/destroys/absorbs an RPG. Don’t be afraid to hurt or kill Jaime’s family. (We love them but stakes, realism, and Jaime might need it) show us how much pain they can endure and how far they are willing to go for each other. What are their limits/morals? Crazy Suggestion: Blue beetle could fight a yellow/red/orange lantern to show power scaling, to prep audience and Jaime for Green Lantern meets/fights Blue Beetle, and maybe Jaime learns a different/stealthy approach to take down a more powerful opponent.

this movie was like a breath of fresh air tbh. i’m not a fan of the DC movies or heroes in general, i’m def a marvel fan, but i was intrigued by this portrayal of a character where the whole family seemed to actually represent latinx properly, also the suit and everything looked dope. i was also positively surprised and i loved this film! i hope they keep this cast for any future appearances. if there’s any movie that he appears in, i’ll go watch it for sure

While the movie loooks like it did bad because it made 25 million when it's budget is a 100 million, the movie still remainded in first place at the box office, and there is that possibility that it might get first place again on it's 2nd weekend. Although Granturisma comes out this weekend, I can't tell if that movie will get first place or Blue Beetle might get first place again.

I was at the premiere of this movie. Blue Beetle has been and continues to be my top favorite superhero out there. Recently though, a lot of Marvel and DC movies seem to flop or do poorly... Poorly written, poorly executed, cash-grabs... You name it. So when I went to watch Blue Beetle, I was... afraid. Afraid that the same plague that had hit so many previous movies and TV series' would have infected this one too. But no. Blue Beetle was just great. An excellent movie that feels like it was actually made with love for the character. So when I left the cinema... The only thing I had on my mind was... Will it still flop? Because, due to the writers protest in Hollywood and the continuous release of bad movies by the big companies, who knows? People might have lost faith in DC... And then just refuse to watch a movie out of principle, believing it to be bad before they even try it out. THAT is what scares me. Because Blue Beetle DESERVES to do well, and I would hate it if previous bad movies turns out to be the reason why this good movie flops. Because that isn't deserving of it's magnificence.

Is this movie groundbreaking and worth putting up against the dark knight? absolutely not and you’d be crazy to think that. I also don’t think it tries or wants to be. It’s a fun movie with fun characters and a ton of heart with a simple plot and that’s it, thats what makes this movie good. Not that it’s trying to make a statement or that it wants you take it super serious but that it’s just a simple fun story that doesn’t try hard. This movie is exactly what a fatigued audience needs. What’s sad is that the lack of promotion and the tarnished reputation of DC will maybe not allow this movie to get a sequel and it’s so disappointing.

Bumblebee and yellow jacket are VERY different concepts and characters, however if you look at blue bottles suit youll notic its literally a rip off of marvels yellowjacket shrink vessel with the two laser arms over the shoulders, bluw bottles design is a direct rip off🤦‍♂️😂 without even trying to make it look different
