Why? -The game isn't recognizeable anymore. When the game became free, RVVZ needed another way to monetize, thus skins and infection was born -The game makes you toxic. That's just how it is. It made me toxic, and i regret every part of it. If it can make the players toxic, then it can make the mods toxic too. The moderation team is corrupt, toxic, and full of itself. They justify their lack of real life socialization by lashing out on people on a lego game. I've personally experienced this too. -We grew up. We actually got friends. We went outside. We found new games. We discovered sports and other hobbies. To that extent we also figured out what the game made of us. I regret spending money on this game. I regret socializing with the community. I regret being involved in it. I regret meeting most people on there besides a very small minority. This might be only me, but I beg to differ. I'm sorry I've criticized you in the past. You were in fact right. I hope people can grow past this shithole, and realise it sucks. Its full of furries and people with an overinflated ego. Thats my take.

Someone finally said it, I got over this stupid genre like 7 years ago on The Streets. It's all just shallow teaming, running around zerking everyone with no real objective and hanging around with your buddies and pretending you're "from the hood". What killed Criminality and most of these The Streets copies is the fact that there's no actual game - no proper objective to keep players playing. Criminality had a lucky break with the infection gamemode, but they didn't capitalize on that more. These games could have really cool organized gamemodes like gang wars and cops VS robbers, full scale 10v10 gamemodes that aren't only limited to teaming with your buddies and randomly killing everything. But this is the shit I was saying like 3 years ago, that ship has already sailed long ago.

2 weeks late, however i still gonna say something. i have left due to the points exactly mentioned in this video, but the massive reason why i stopped is that melees, what i originally played for and only cared for, became pointless, my last hop was the melee rework butttt it was just made to make us drop money on even more skins. i wanted to quit since 1.4 as i noticed there was less and less care for melees and i really thought it will never come back (i was right) reason why i stopped playing blackout, exact same issues in crim, melees r just shit, the firearms reign and the promised npcs and promised melee priority was just a massive scam lmao, the only game i support which is similiar to a street game is havoc, reasons so is that melees do have a play, npcs r not stupid and play a major role in the game, and the developers do care about the game. however im not allowed to mention more things as again, it is private development. oh yea, i havent made a video on why i left cuz i really believe that it wont change shit and will just be about boohoo waaa game shit now with nothing done about it. good video tho keep it up, i havent watched any crim videos or seen any content bout it for an entire year. decided to check back annndd its even worse than before lmao

I played Criminality for a really long time, and I got pretty involved in the community (it wasn't even that toxic tbh), but I think around the time of v1.5 was when the game kind of changed it's identity. It's still probably a great game for some audiences, but it's just not the same game it used to be whatsoever I sometimes revisit the community but I've never had the drive to actually play crim again

I replayed it 3 days ago, and I'd say the new community has stayed the same. everyones sitting at cafe doing nothing, hella femboys, barely any edaters anymore but theres always some random ass level 90+ coming in with rpgs or airstrikes killing everyone then logging, or some gang of level 80's with t2 armor, scars tryharding in casual. the only difference in the new community is that people are running around in vc or text chat asking "do you want to trade". I absolutely hate the trading not because I'mbroke but because half of the people with limited skins that give buffs either black marketted it (usd or robux) or is a spoiled brat with a credit card at 14. the trading isn't even worth it since everything is so artificially inflated and people ego trade saying "My skins better cause its mine". it's not fun, and it's not enjoyable.

Criminality never died, it kept growing, it just slowly had all of it's loyal fans get replaced by new ones that are much worse. I guess it more of went towards following the roblox trend of adding content such as skin crates that just somehow appeals to more people. Also for blackout, I completely agree with your point regarding the gunplay, and the devs are already looking to fix it. I also do agree with the operator being difficult to kill and mass teaming being an issue. Though I don't think operators are as difficult to kill as you say, guns such as the ak or the g3 already does a substantial amount of damage to them, also keep in mind how useful dragons breathe weapons are, it does impose an imbalance but I don't think it's as bad as you say, since most players already figured out viable methods to kill operators. And regarding your point related to mass teaming, in comparison to the other games you mentioned, the mod team of blackout is much much smaller, and despite trying to recruit new moderators it takes a long time, so having us moderate something so vague as mass teaming would be extremely difficult for us on our side. Also keep in mind that the game was designed to be played with friends, unlike crim, which could still easily be played solo, and there are no features that encourages players to team up.

@@kuzeyakgoren436 most of these issues are being listened to, and attempts to fix them are being made like RPMs being decreased to give you a bit more of a chance to survive, there was a preview released just today that shows they're decreasing the amount the sights jump around in ADS, they're adding some small inertia to make the movement just a bit weightier and the jumping has had an increasing cooldown for each jump after one another

I just vaguely remember purchasing the game at the end of v1.1- start of v1.2 with one of my long-time friends, and honestly, we had a blast playing v1.2 and the upcoming updates until around v1.5. Up until v1.5, the game was at its peak. It had a very interesting, different style and atmosphere to it, making it stand out from the other open-world PVP games on Roblox. It was fun, me and my friend played it every single day, it was the most fun I've ever had on a Roblox game. But after v1.5 the game just got worse and worse, yeah we still played it but even less than the day before until we stopped playing it altogether. It just didn't feel the same, the guns, melees, the overall vibe of the game changed for the worse, making us depart from the game more and more. The community becase a hellhole, the majority of people we fought were toxic players, swearing at us (or attempted to) after we killed them, we barely had anybody say gg or just stay silent after we ended the fight. It just downgraded even more with each update and broke the happy and fun feeling we once had playing this game constantly. I don't regret the time/money I spent on it, I just regret that the game ruined itself just because of greed and other bad motives.

they're fixing most of this, third person is getting spread nerfs, they're adding slight inertia so you cant switch direction on the flip of a coin, slide jumping has increasing jump cooldowns aswell as jumping having increasing cooldowns, so most of this should be better soon

Yo dude i fully agree with you and i mean 100%. Crim lost all of the atmosphere after 2.0 which added skins and the new menu. I remember 1.3 which had more friendly community that helped new players and better dark atmosphere. The main menu in 1.3 was sick too and it was the best one out of them all. But now the community is trash. Every time you join there are 4 high level tryhards teaming up having emo-gray skin-tryhard avatars that kill all the fun. Also I hope blackout will fix the things that you pointed out. The third person shooting system is really annyoing and op. Everytime i played on first person i would just get smashed because you dont need to actually have skill to play third person just jump and look at the enemy you are about to shoot and you won. Its really not fun. The teaming problem and operator kits are annyoing too. I once played with my friends we were raiding orange bunker and everyone of us got oneshoted by some guy in a suit wielding two rainbow katanas (we lost 120k of loot because of this). Blackout devs will probably not do anything about it though, they dont care about the community like the crim devs. Anyways Im really happy that someone actually pointed out all of these things and posted a video about it. The one thing that ruined Criminality for me was them making the game free to play. I believe it was a good move to open the game and not make it paid access, but the developers couldn't make standard free and opened up this pretty much diet version of the game where you have next to no incentive to do anything but wait for your allowance timer. I'm pretty sure it split the community into these two groups where in casual everyone sits around like vibe games were making a resurgence and standard is just a sweatfest to see who can grind out the most XP as quickly as possible. There's no inbetween anymore I remember making unexpected allies while the game was P2P and the community, casual or serious were all in the same pot. That made it hella fun for me back then but now that's gone

i have a decent amount of experience with crim and i stopped a while ago i think it's because it went from its original idea of high risk high reward gameplay where no matter what you have you can die at any moment and kill anyone with anything if you have skill; to just rewarding the people who spend an unholy amount of time and or money with overpowered items whilst making the game feel unplayable for others even with good experience

I agree after v2 the only updates we only got were just recycled events or just bad updates after v2 we got brawl which just butchered melees hitboxes and the only events we got are just recycled with nerfed event items (except for fallen) it feels after v2 there was a shift in how they treat the community after finding out skins will just pay for themselves with it somehow getting somewhere to where people pay usd for criminality limiteds for example in April fools 2023 and Halloween 2022 we got a game mode and a whole bunch of base game content (Halloween 2022 especially with infection still being in the game and how much the crates vending machines and mystery crates changed the game) which I feel this time was the peak of crim in my opinion amazing video by the way

I could write a whole essay about how right you are about crim falling off. I was never graced with the early days of crim however I used to watch some of it's older content, and I can say that you are completely right, from lack luster updates to horrible weapon balancing. The most content we got that wasn't a skin crate was Brawl, x24, clippers, and teddybloxpin (Ig you can say independence update but we're gonna lose that soon anyway they dont keep anything fun in the game). Criminality has a whole issue with people stealing and reuploading the game, but I believe that wouldn't be an issue if they didnt spend so much time on admin items and actually cared about the game they created. I joined a call with one of the people who stole crim and he was showing off all the admin stuff, and whatever they have a bunch of toll admin commands, but the amount of Items that they are gatekeeping from the community Is in the double digits and it's wild to me that they make these weapons in their free time for themselves and never make a new weapon for the actual game.

I feel like a MAJOR, and I mean MAJOR reason why players stopped playing Criminality is due to the fact that there is so much toxicity, I have seen people in Discord dropping death threats just cause they died in Standard, threatening to leak IP addresses of people who really just played the game. The game literally would be doing good if players didn't act like total children, yes I know another reason people stopped playing was because you could just pay 2 win for money, the skins, etc. But really, do you wanna be playing with people acting like literal toddlers? (For the discord part, I have received DMs from people I teamed up with, telling me to go commit suicide, they'll shoot me up, etc. I don't take it seriously but it still sucks,)

I do agree with all points in the video, except the blackout section, the op armor point, killing opps is usually pretty easy imo, especially if you have any type of Dragon's Breath Shotgun even the Tac-14, most OP armor players are paranoid asf, when you put on that armor you are giving the fun aspect of the game and basically wearing something that makes every other player's mouth water, the biggest problem i've faced in the game atm is the mass teaming and clans, the photon accel (it's a literally insta kill cannon it's unfair as shit to anyone facing it, though you only see it being used againsts op from 2 kilometers away), some exploiters and the hipfire meta everything else i fully agree with

Ok im gonna write a long comment so i hope you’ll read it. I think most of your critism is genuinely fine. I agree with you on that the change criminality went through wasnt that good. Criminality in my opinion went through a new era when 1.6 dropped. They stopped taking themselves seriously and focused on a more goofy tone, in which i actually liked. I can also agree that the skin crates made the game worse (with the limited buffs etc.) and that the balance is less straight than the average chart of roblox. I do think criminality has a balance issue but honestly i dont care too much about it anymore mostly due to the focus of the game shifting into a more goofy state. I like when things dont get taken too seriously IMO. With some of the devs being groomers, it sucks to see. Tbh, one of the reasons I quit is that the optimization got SO FUCKING BAD, Its very common to drop from 144 fps to something like 70 frames in the middle of a fight. It completely fucks over your aim and focus. This issue only arised whenever 2.0 released ironically.

Blackout PvP meta actually strays further from shooting which I think is something you missed. Blackout is more of a movement shooter, with sliding, sprinting and jumping actually making you win or lose a fight.

I remember back when rvvz would post gun balances in the discord server, meaning it would encourage more usage on the weapon changed, nerf or buff. Now its all just silent updates which makes it really annoying

honestly idc if this game is toxic or dies out i remember playing back in 1.3 and all it was just goofing around and having fun now its just a money generator with less less updates each month ill still be playing it even if it has zero players criticize me al you want in my eyes its a good game with good music and dogshit mechanics

I agree SO MUCH with what you have said about blackout, I was genuinely having fun in that game but the updates made everything super unbalanced and favors the people who sweat hours on the game.

come on man, saying that the new menu theme is goofy and doesnt have a serious tone in a way like "hey, you are in some place that is so filled of crimes that it was blocked off the world and you will have to survive there with no hand holding" is totally an understatement, the song is so good, way better than that cod one in my opnion, those guitars are so awesome and badass, i often find myself humming to it everytime i join the game, i used to like the 1.4 version more because it didnt have the drums and felt more cold, but the version with the drums is pretty good too tbh, delivercreations really nailed it with the song

Its so true, and unfortunately alot of high levels also use alternate accounts to exploit. Criminality just is so desolate and dry when it comes to playing the game unless your grinding for a bigger bank and weapons.

I'm almost quit criminality because main account got banned and no appeal I play in 1.4 version before community it so good but after no it shit today I'm still playing in alt account i know game kinda fun but yeah rvvz and all moderation It bullshit

I dont know if you have heard but alot of the staff of blackout is talking about a pvp revamp we will be getting that will hopefully make the 3rd person meta way less effective and buff 1st person, scopes will be getting recoil compensation so an acog in 1st can actually be usable,I highly doubt they will do anything to stop the braindead team mechanics (WHY DO PEOPLE GET WHOLE ASS OUTLINES OF THEIR TMS!!?!) but its better then nothing

All the new content is rare, high rank and expensive, no new areas. Also the reasobn rvvz doesnt have to show the odds for limiteds is beacause you can get free crates from the daily thing

Blackout is really good but it's held back by its community and mods, kinda like crim. but to be fair, blackout is reallyyyy new compared to crim, and if u are patient and these stuff gets fixed and the game becomes free, it will for sure take over crim (fun fact when crim was paid access there were only 200-300 concurrent players, just like blackout so its not actually dead)

My peak on criminality was on lvl 40-50, i always will remember the memories i made with my friends, enemies, and frenemies Maybe the real criminality were the friends we made along the way.

this videos summarizes super well the short comings of both Criminality and Blackout Revival Also huge yap incoming, sorry about that i've never got myself to play Criminality before, as i literally learned about its existence in a video saying how the game fell off very hard. Not long after tho I stumbled across an early Blackout Revival devlog, way before the game launched, through it I learned about what it was trying to be and how it was trying to bring back the same old Criminality, it felt like the perfect way to introduce myself to this genre. I too loved everything about Blackout Revival, the gameplay felt solid and it really looks like it was made with passion, what sold it to me tho was indeed the ambience, I just couldn't wait for the game to launch, and to finally be able to walk around the many areas of the game and parkour and stuff. Fast forward to recent times, i got Blackout Revival when it was 50% off in christmas (i have no bobux), but at that time the metas of the game had already been stabilished, and it was already hard to find people that were not teaming. Due to this the majority of my time spent would be doing PvE stuff and I would do my best to keep PvP engagements on a fair 1v1, as Im really bad when it comes to shooters. The only recent memory I have from the game was from a time I was simply minding my own business and talking to one of the NPCs. Sadly, some team spotted me and circled me as I was in the dialog, I already knew I was done there. One of the dudes would simply say "I'm edging to your avatar" and would pull out a huge ahh buster sword looking weapon and literally impale me with it, only revive me and instantly kill me again and again (running was not working as it was a closed room and his sword covered like half of it). He would then tell me to scram leaving me only with an arm and a leg. Humiliated and super lost on what to do (I didnt even know you could lose limbs on this game) I would just reset and leave the game. I haven't played the game sinc, but that was something, 10/10 game sad to see the devs are implementing such unbalanced stuff, I dont mind the devs adding a badass power armor to the game but it should just be a fun gimmick at best

What really killed my passion for crim, was the change of the gunplay. I just could not adapt to the new recoil system (CRIM V2)

i quit criminality long ago because its just one of those games where balancing is pretty much non existent and became predatory w micro transactions that give an edge over f2p players even if its a slight change. Its a trend a lot of roblox games have been following lately. Its gotten to a point where dev teams are more in it for the money rather than the community. It was fun at first then eventually it became a cesspool

I've quit this game back when 1.3 released on the day it came out, me and a few others thought it was the "end" of the game. Coming back after a year later however i was proven wrong when i started to have more fun than i did during 1.1/1.2, even meeting some folks i knew back then and becoming friends. Nowadays i'm honestly disappointed with how 2.0 was dropped, it felt like a bombshell for those who are new and wanted to learn the recoil and to the older playerbase having to pick up once again how to control the recoil WHICH SOME WEAPONS DONT EVEN LINE UP WITH THE NEW SYSTEM. I could go on about more issues but its common knowledge upon the older playerbase that complained about these issues, great game but ruined with greed these days. GG

I think the atmosphere was pretty silly back in 1.2 (and people were less sweaty and weren't instantly hostile to everyone they met) but rvvz went like cod and instead of letting the people be goofy he tried to make the game goofy/add goofy microstransactions which really killed the vibe

I played criminality since before the vending machines were add and after that I lost the will to "fight" and stopped playing and looks like it was the right option? I will remember the game the way I loved and this is how it ends for me and I love it.
