Great explanation! I have PCS and PPPD but slowly, getting back to walking. Literally just finished a hike and was feeling horrible and found your video. Always appreciate the way you explain things thank you!

Well Dr Mark since most of us are in the throws of a brain injury, please try speaking a little slower. Speaking is to impart new information. When someone speaks as fast as they possibly can, kinda defeats the purpose.

Thank you for your feedback, Mary-I can see how speaking too quickly might be frustrating, especially during recovery. I do my best to share helpful information for free, but I understand it may not always be perfect for everyone. If it helps, KZbin has a playback speed feature (⚙️) that lets you slow down the video to a pace that works best for you. If you’d like more personalized support, I also offer Concussion Recovery Consults: www.drheisig.com/appointments. Wishing you the best in your recovery!

Thanks for the feedback, Mary Kate. I do my best to keep my pace clear, but if it feels too fast, KZbin’s playback settings allow you to slow the video down to a pace that works best for you. Just click the gear icon (⚙️) and select your preferred speed. If you’re looking for more structured guidance on PCS recovery, check out my Concussion Reset Program: www.drheisig.com/courses. Wishing you the best on your recovery!

Yes - cervicogenic dizziness can present as vertigo or worsen vertigo in some folks.

Sub symptom exercise is still king?
@drmarkheisig4 ай бұрын
Yep. Sub-symptom aerobic exercise is included in the rehab plan for EACH phenotype/flavor of concussion and PCS. It helps improve nearly every target metric of concussion recovery. Love it or hate it - exercise is medicine.
