At least the Dubai Autodrome hasn’t needed a reconfiguration to improve the racing…unlike Yas Marina.

Yes, but the Dubai Government won't pay hosting fees, and Abu Dhabi Government won't pick up the bill as it is a direct threat to their boring Yas Marina track.

You need to do quite a lot of fact checking before you release a video like this, namely, the 'DubaiLand Track' as you call it is not closed at all. It still holds national and international races, including the Creventec 24 hour race in a couple of weeks, plus a thriving Race school. I know its thriving as I am called on a regular basis to instruct there.

These events are paid for by the series/race promoter and track host in return for track rental fees including marshaling fees The race school is not free nor funded by the federation. However the track business model is very successful: an insider told me that out of all of the Gulf region tracks, Dubai Autodrome is the only one making money.

This video should be in comedian group. Yes, there are no F1 racing, but a huge number of different race events almost every week, local and national, including Le-Man 24h. Amazing track, really fascinating and a lot of fun to drive and see. If anyone who watches this video in Dubai now or planning to visit - go and book driving experience on track, breathtaking experience which you will remember whole you life. I did it 4 times and will do again definitely.

Circuit is still in use , It held the 2023 Hancock 24 hrs of Dubai. You need to do axbetter job at your research.

This was a great Vid man, its was unfortunate For Dubai, But I think the circuit is now used for very normal clients for having a great Race time, The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was hosted lately and it was extraordinary, Dubai will have to Pay a lot More Thab 1.6Bn to climb back, 📈

Bleak atmosphere around the track? I think you should come and visit Dubai, and especially Motor City, the area around the track. It is one of the most vibrant communities in Dubai. So many things wrong in this video

Clearly a video made by someone who's never actually been to the Dubai Autodrome, highlighted by the in-factual information and googled pictures that span 20 years of the tracks history. Abandoned? really? We've been racing and teaching there since 2007 and probably covered over 1500kms on the track this year alone. It may not see F1 in its future but there is plenty other racing events held there.
