Personally, i feel like Laporta and a majority of the Barca board members are just playing with the emotions of we the fans when they mention all these players... If you want to sign a player, you check if you can actually pull it off from a FFP stand point and also how important the player is to what the team needs. If i were to be in charge and we manage to have the funds, I'll just sign Nico Williams and then get a quality Pivot even if not world class but someone good enough to fill in the pivot position properly, a player like Angelo Stiller or if possible go all out for Kimmich... Then if there are funds left, i can now think of bringing in Olmo with the condition of selling either Frenkie or Gundo cos we can't keep all of them on the team. Thanks for always uploading. @@Henockpatty Barca do not necessarily need Frimpong for 2 reasons in my view... First, Barca are still in pursuit of a loan deal or reduced transfer fee for Joao Cancelo, also we have Jules Kounde who has been excellent at RB for us and for France recently not also forgetting Julian Araujo who just returned from a decent spell on loan at Las Palmas... So for me, Frimpong is not in the picture except Barca have other plans that are not clear to us the fans at the moment.

If Barca signs Dani Olmo its an indirect message to Pedri that he is no longer untouchable. Barca needs to sign Mikel Merino, and pair him with Frenkie Dejong.

Barcelona are guaranteed to sign Nico Williams and everyone knows that they’re going to activate his 58 million release clause, they’re also interested in resigning Dani Olmo another player who was key to Spain winning the EUROs with him contributing to a lot of big goals and on paper, adding both of them make the team even stronger and they can sign both of them in the same transfer window, their team is still in need of a CDM. If they’re able to get all of these players at the same time, that’s a perfect transfer window for Barcelona. If they want to make all of their moves in the same transfer window signing Williams Olmo or a CDM like Joshua Kimmich Zubamendi etc, because of their restrictions finally, it all depends on player sales and who they decide to get rid of, as you don’t want to sign 2 attacking players, yet ignore the position that you’re in dire need of. They’re making moves and of course Barcelona aren’t as star studded as they were in the 2010s, but despite the potential dominance of Real Madrid going forward with Kylian Mbappe’s arrival, there’s some optimism surrounding this team due to the players they could sign before the transfer window closes and what this team could look like as well. I look at Barcelona’s potential team going into next season and from an attacking perspective it looks very good. If they’re going to lineup in a 4-2-3-1 formation under Hansi Flick you’ll have Nico Williams, Pedri (when fit) Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal behind Robert Lewandowksi and in a double pivot in midfield Ilkay Gundogan Frenkie de Jong or possibly Gavi when he returns from his ACL injury, and in attack and midfield assuming everyone is healthy, they look very good in that area of the pitch, but if they want to take themselves to the next level they need to sign a world class CDM if they want to be seen as genuine contenders for the champions league next season. No matter how many attacking players you have, it’s critical for a team to have balance and control particularly in big matches which is something that they lacked last season and they know that they’re in need of it. I’m not saying that they’ll sign someone like Rodri, if they had the money to do so they add him to their team, he would be a great fit for Barcelona, but they should go after Zubamendi and try to find a way to get Joshua Kimmich, I mean he has 12 months remaining on his contract at Bayern Munich and ok he’ll be available on a free and they’re going to want more money for him as they won’t let him leave on a cheap, if the money is good, they should try and bring him in this summer because when he’s available on a free next year many other teams will be in the race to sign him. If they have good tactics and actually avoid the same injury situation as last season, I could see Barcelona achieving big things under this new manager.

Mikel Merino is the perfect CDM. We are linked to him but there are other clubs like Arsenal. I think his signing will get dragged on to the end of this window, as I hard he's off to holidays and only when he comes back will make the decision. He should cost around 30mil, and if we can offer a player they need, it will be even better.

We are not that top elite club anymore. its around 30mil, so can be 25 aswell, plus there were reports of exchange possible so in total it can be even less like 10mil or so.

And sometime we could even get past R16 to Benfica and Inter. Laliga is behind SeriaA interms of ranking. Winning a Laliga doesn't mean anything anymore until you show it in UCL, it's the same for PSG. And that too we have won a single laliga since 2019, and that to because of the worse Real in quite a while. We played piss poor football and barely won games , we did t show any style or grit. And then we went out in R16. Lol We have nowhere near the pull like Arsenal, Liverpool, PSG. I don't even bring RM or city or Bayern. And we don't even have the money to pull players like the other EPL clubs. The moment socios understand this and demand more and be ruthless like other clubs is when we change our mentality. In my opinion, whether it’s Barcelona Manchester City Arsenal or even Bayern Munich, no team in world football is scared of Real Madrid’s super team that has just added Kylian Mbappe to the squad. Yes on paper, with Mbappe Bellingham Vini etc, their team is so overpowered and in the long run it’s true that we could see them dominating as they’re a frontrunner to win every competition that they play in, but if you’re a team that’s a potential contender for the champions league as good as they look, other teams shouldn’t care about what players they’re signing. It’s not just in football, sports in general, no team cares about what caliber of players that they get because all the talking and hype has to correct directly into results on the pitch. Being able to worry about your own team is what matters because Barcelona are capable of competing with them and it’s true that you don’t have guys like Messi and Ronaldinho’s caliber the last time that Real Madrid had a super team where Barcelona prevented them from dominating football before later on finding European success, they have the squad and the manager to have a competitive team. The importance of what they have to do is add Nico Williams and partner him up with Lamine Yamal in attack, sign Dani Olmo as well and get a CDM, reduce Robert Lewandowski’s workload since he isn’t getting any younger and give Vitor Roque more playing time if not, get a proper striker who can replace him, you need players who are firing on all cylinders and can stay healthy (Pedri) get Gavi back from injury utilize their young players better etc and let’s see if Barcelona can move from there because they’re not afraid of that team nobody is as of now as do people understand that you don’t know how good Real Madrid is going to be as you haven’t see Mbappe play a single game for them just yet and while it’s scary times for football, being able to strengthen the squad and get players who suit the team is the right thing for them going forward.

If you deleted Olmo, it would be better and more realistically achievable. Alvarez could play the second striker from the position below Lewandowski in the 4-2-3-1 this season. In a year, Lewa would have finished and Alvarez would have moved up to CF, and we would have bought Wirtz on CAM and Kimmich for free. That would be great.
