This story shows the human, emotional side of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Our prophet muhammed encourage us so many times in his days of living that be kind and humble to you parents! And in Qur'an it is God told us to respect our parents and show your mercy to them. The Holy Qur'an 17:23 And your Lord has decreed that you serve none but Him, and do good to parents.1 If either or both of them reach old age with you, don't even say uff(say no word to them showing annoyance), nor rebuke them, and speak to them a generous word. 17:24 And make yourself gentle to them with humility out of mercy, and say: My Lord, have mercy on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little. 17:25 Your Lord knows best what is in your minds. If you are righteous, He is surely Forgiving to those who turn (to Him).
