Im filipino, married to a peruvian-american and living in UK. Everyone would ask me why I didnt settle in US since my husband lives there. Simple, its not my home. Once i retire, I also plan on going home to Philippines. A lot would question this decision since many filipinos would give up anything to live in UK or US. But to me, Philippines is my home. Thats where my heart is so I will still go home. My children can decide where they want to be since by then grown up na sila. Ganun din siguro mama mo. Although she’s lived in Kuwait for so long, her heart still longs for her home.
