Riding Flow bindings is like going from skiing to snowboard. Once you try them, you’ll never go back to. Great product!

I agree. I’ve recently switched to a split board setup and miss my step in bindings so badly

I own Flow snowboard bindings similar to these but I can't just step into them. I always have to get on my knees first. The bindings themselves are good though.

I wear a Burton boot, size 14 and my flow bindings get stuck on the heel tread. I’ve literally gotten stuck in the bindings and had to release the buckles at the toe and on top of my foot to get out. Several times. Which is just like being in a traditional binding. Not sure if this is due to the lager boot or if I did a poor setup. I’m doing the best boarding of my life right now but am just not sure I’d buy flows again. After the boot heel sole had delaminated enough I took my knife and cut the section of it off that goes up the heel.. I have about 20 days with the boot binding combo.

Recommend Nidecker boots if going flow binding. My burtons don’t fit my flows

The top model flows work great. There’s just a technique to using them. If you don’t set them up right and just think you’ll slide your foot in and go you will be disappointed. I don’t see any reason to get rid of my nx2 GT’s anytime soon.

Yea I love em.....I'm on the lift..... nearing the end....snap......I'm off.....as other people wearing Burton style bindings are still doing their straps up at the top of the mountain 🏔️ 🤣....see you at the bottom 👍

Yes but these are a better budget option, flows are 240 cad at cheapest and clews are i think 500 cad at cheapest

@NideckerSnowboards3 жыл бұрын
Hey Kamil! Flow bindings work great in the resorts because you can get in and out quickly, easily and conveniently. They'll ask be great in the powder if you get some of that. Hope you enjoed the video and reach out if you have any more questions!

I use them since 2008~ ,for my intermediate snowboarding 7 days a year at most they are great, but honesty nothing beats real straps , flows are just too wiggly you can never strap your leg up as hard and stiff as in classic binds. And one serious flaw is that if you fall harder and end up sliding on your back they can open up and your snowboard gets loose, now imagine 1 leg still strapped in and another wilding around.... not good. Only positive thing is speed and elegance of sliding off ski lift.

Not really satisfied. It works with Nidecker boots only. Bad quality of the fixing parts (broken after 20 rides). Too hard straps for the traditional enter. You need a flat surface for the correct boot fixing and no ice inside. Impossible to take the boot out if the nose of the boot is square-shape and fixed hard by the nose strap. Not really much time savings. Great visible quality, and very good plastic.

Hey, thanks for the message. Flows work with any boots, we have thousands of riders all over the world riding non-Nidecker boots. As for getting in and out, you can use the Dual Entry system (the ratchets) if you're on anything super steep or off-camber. Regarding the in and out friction you're getting, sounds like your straps are a bit too tight. Not sure if you're running Fusion straps or Hybrid straps but you can run our straps a little looser and still get the same response thanks to the Power Triangle. We're stoked you like the quality and the plastic! For the issue you mentioned, we're not sure exactly what it is but follow the Warranty or Replacement Parts links in the footer of our website to get some new parts. Thanks!

@@NideckerSnowboards Thank you for your reply. The local dealer said the warranty is limited. Fixing parts are out of warranty. I've found one quality issue. I'll send you photos a bit later.

why don't you make these bindings in pairs with one normal binding and one with this fast fastening systems?

Just waer a sneaker on your left foot and a hiking boot on your right foot for a day. After that you´ll know the answer to your question.
