You should do this battle again with fewer tyranids but have a few hundred thousand orcs coming from where those guys ran at the start charging in to join the fray, the crazier the slaughter, the better :D Edit: Or better yet, have three armies, human, orc and tau side by side going up against tyranids on a large open plain, see who can push the furthest against the swarm :D The story being they were happily fighting each other until the Tyranids showed up, so they all decided to smash them and then go back to killing each other.

Why would an Adeptus Mechanicus world have a medieval fort in the middle of some rolling plains? Maybe it's a sacred site? Such as where the Primarch who liberated the world first set foot? Would explain why it wasn't industrialised

no artillery, no machine gun nests, no nothing... its not the walls that are useless. its the fact the guys defending the walls are under equipped

The trend becomes obvious relatively early. Taking out the first 200k tyranids only cost 3k guards, the next 200k tyranids cost an additional 4k guards and the 200k after that already cost another 5k guards. I haven't watched the whole thing yet but I'd be very surprised if the guards win.

soo is there a map white a multypal walls where you cane haw the criger fall back inside first wall ones they get on top of first wall and gun them down whill cresting the top the wall and haw licke heavy weapons and arty being fierd frome the 2 wall? would need termagaunts to fier back though to even it out :P

Should work in more reinforcement from the classic 6'o'clock from defenders, on attack, space it so it takes 10minutes for them to reach defence point.

@@PO9-CRN having tried a little of this myself, pc wasn't good for it, had to do smaller fights. Position is key. The map shown is pretty big, it's not difficult to place a troop unit 2-3km away time how long it takes to walk and position accordingly based on movement speed. Something like a stormboy might take 4 minutes vs a constript 8 minute. Pinky does a lot of off the screen tests - wouldn't take many to figure out where to plonk a reinforcement. Pinky does seem weridly allergic to 'on hold' deployments where he could manually tell them to attack.

terrible video you set 5 million tyranids upon the wall which only had a faction of a percentage of the guardsmen in total able to shoot at anything beyond the wall. next time put all guardsmen and tanks outside the wall so they can all shoot, give them obstacles that can be shot through but not walked through and put artillery inside the walls. This would be a proper video.
