Some of the animations are delayed on this video. Apologies for this, not sure why.... 🤔

What software do you use for animations?

The skull crusher study makes me wonder: there are several exercises where at the end of the range of motion the challenge is nil. I wonder if they should be treated like the skull crusher and keep going until the rep gets easy

The only other exercises i can think of with a similar tension curve are some squat patterns (such as leg press & barbell squats). I this case it may be beneficial to not 'lock-out' at the top to keep maximum tension on the quads/glutes in the bottom 2/3 range. Or at least minimise time spent in the top range 💪

Hi Peter , great content again. I have started towards the end of a mesocycle (RIR 0), after reaching full ROM failure using partials at long muscle lengths to try to elicit more hypertrophy. This was a technique used by the late John Meadows. It was a question I posed to my lecturer.....just wondering your thoughts

Interesting concept. It may have a benefit, but I don't see how you could even manage to do partials and long muscle length after hitting 0 RIR?

@@FlowHighPerformance1 eg preacher curl just might be able to do a few more partial reps at the start

@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
Just listen to your own response to each exercise. This will be different for everyone 👍

If I do a workout with 2 exercises, one upper body and one lower body, what will happen or what will results will be, if I do alternate sets of exercises? Why I don't see people talking about this? What I think is I can take say 2 min rest between each set and I will get 4-6 min rest between one type of exercise. More rest and more performance.

I have made a video discussing this. Watch it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGStp2N-hbuMa9E
