Yeah… gacha heat got so bad that if you download gacha club, you can’t choose a clothes color that’s too close to the skin color. It quite literally takes all the colors and just makes them disappear with a disclaimer that pretty much says “so we don’t have any inappropriate content, we take this part away.”

As somebody who was in the gacha community starting at 8 ending 13 (I sometimes click on a gacha video just for a guilty pleasure just end up getting flashbacks fr) it is a rough community, gacha heat is a whole problem itself, I remember clicking on a what I thought was going to be a funny video when I was 9 just to learn what inter-course or wtv is. It also introduced me to self-harm although I can’t fully blame Gacha for that stage of my life. I was in the beginning stages of Gacha and it was hell but it taught me how to read lol. But what I can say is it’s not all just gacha heat and stuff like that. It brought me to my best friend and another awesome community, there are actually awesome people in that community. Nowadays there is a lot less gacha heat, there is a decent amount on TikTok but I haven’t found or seen one on KZbin for about 2 years, yes it’s probably somewhere but it’s a lot less common, and the person who made it normally gets tormented and bullied by other creators.

As someone who had been in the gacha community for a very long time I find it very difficult to even admit that I was part of this community because of its ties to gacha heat. Me and my sister grew up mainly listening to GLMV (gacha life music videos) which were like visual inspirations or inspired skits that followed the song and its lyrics. Those songs that I listened to are my childhood, and unfortunately because I listened and watched gacha, that exposed me to gacha heat. I never watched any videos containing that kind of content, but it goes to show no matter what category of gacha you watch, whether it’s listening to a GLMV using the song “Toy” or “Personal” which aren’t explicit in anyway (from what I remember) you will still end up having some sort of gacha heat pop up on your screen, it WILL happen it’s the matter of when. I quit the community about a year ago and now I’m about to be a junior in highschool, but even then because of some animation videos or maybe I searched up a popular song or meme, gacha will still pop up on my “For You” page. I promise all of us aren’t like this, and that it’s truly unfortunate that gacha heat has stuck around as long as it has, but if you were to see the brighter side of the gacha community, the amazing animations, the top tear story telling, interpretations, and general creativity that comes from kids and teenagers (even sometimes GOOD adults like BeoWolf or smth she goofy and funny) I think you’d be hella impressed with what kids can do! (In a good way lol) For example Devil Bona! From what I remember she’s an amazing artist who’s animated and shared her oc’s stories! From what I remember she’s around my age, but it’s truly amazing to know that someone my age could draw and animate (even a little) so well! I’m against those who use their “creativity” to fuel their fetishes and their horrible and disgusting desires, however I am all for the young, talented, inspiring young men and women who use the app to express themselves in a way that puts their thoughts or ideas into something that can be shared and viewed by those who share or take interest in the same thing. I’m sorry you had to find out and experience gacha this way (I saw how them kids in ur other video were romanticizing and putting you with BL? guys) there’s a better side to gacha I swear 😭🙏

I feel like i should just clarify not all gacha creators are bad or weird or problematic, in fact there's actually quite few. Our community tends to push past those things and focus on the brighter sides of things and all of the good creators! We like to forget the past and bad things because when all those old things were popular majority of us were kids and didn't know anything, otherwise gacha is literally just to make silly little videos and create characters lol. (EDIT): ALSO all of the bad videos shown were from 2016-2017 after that everyone started maturing and making better content. It was a huge part of a lot of people's childhoods (mostly GLMMs and singing battles) which were all tame. Now the only people using gacha are all teens and adults, well experienced with creating, editing, and entertaining fans. So to everyone dissing and hating on gacha please dont only look at the bad sides of gacha! Look at the good sides/parts of the community. (ex. dont go around looking for the bad stuff, look for specifics if you want to avoid it)

PLEASE IT'S JUST THE FANDOM‼️‼️ 👇 *Read more to hear my story.* As a kid, I had this core memory of watching "Gacha Life Complimations." As said in the video, the video had an extremely inappropriate thumbnail. As a kid, I'll be completely honest with you. I didn't know what was wrong with the it because of the environment I was around, and how I was so open when I was younger. Now that I was more educated as I got older, I now know the true meaning of those videos. And to think a huge chunk of my life was effected by horrible content farms and the internet. Now, back to the main story. My mom has noticed the thumbnail, and I tried to explain to her that ir had norhing to do with the video, she snatched my mobile device and descovered stuff I didn't even realize was that horrible. Let's just say, I cried a lot of tears thst day. Now that that's in the past, my mom and I have completed gone mute on that subjet together, I can now say, Im back with the community and I'm happy that the war is over.

My parents both work hard and don’t have a lot of time for me, they do try to and I know they love me dearly and I respect them for working so I can have a proper birthday and a house to live in, they gave me a tablet most of the time tho, instead I am not on the internet a lot and instead enjoy my time painting or jumping on the trampoline outside, or swimming at the beach, these are a few of my hobbies that I just mentioned, love to do! When I go on the internet tho, my parents taught me to stay away from bad things, such as this community and predators, also I love to watch your vids

After a few years the community is some what better now, there are still Dramas and other bad things happening but there are alot of new and talented and hard working people too whose content I enjoy watching ‼️ There was Rozy and kittypop time in this video their Gacha series and gacha animation is something I'll love for forever 😭

There is also an app called “picnic”, basically the logo is a watermelon and I joined it because I was an editor, basically I made edits of different characters for ex:lighting mcqeen, or any cartoon character. The app was mainly gatcha but I was fine with that because there were also some other editors. However, people on this app would be legitimately 12 year olds and would talk about how they would harm themselves, they would send pictures of their wrists, dump all of their trauma on little kids, it was just a terrible community. I left the community shortly after someone k@lled themself because of the app. Sorry for my ranting but I wanted people to be aware of it.
