Everything in this video is accurate to the point, except... Garmin cannot be classified as a smartwatch company, as they are more of a health and wellness company that has some smartwatch features capability in their manufactured devices. Their main core DNA, when the company was established in '89 is to provide their products with a "long lasting impression" and also durability. A lot of their features in their flagship models, i.e. fenix, epix, marq, enduro, forerunner has features the top end smart smart watches like apple, samsung and fitbit doesnt. Garmin has invested heavily since the start of 2012 by turning their company around from just selling GPS devices to diversifying their portfolio into their 5 core division, health and wellness, outdoor, automobile, aviation and marine - which is why they are the top when it comes to metrics used in their watches to determine an accuracy of an activity.

Not just health and wellness. I have three models of Garmin watches that I use as navigation device while hiking and traveling, especially when smart phones don't have service.

They are worth it, not to mention if you do break it like I did (fell out of a moving car, screen got road rashed but still worked fine ) they'll send you a new one half off usually

I have three models, Fenix 6, Epix, Enduro 2, all are titanium including titanium bracelets. I wear them interchangeably every day and night depending on activities. Fenix is my exercise watch, Epix is my show off watch with OLED screen, and Enduro is my daily health and wellness tracker and I use it as navigator while hiking. Each cost about $1000 but they are worth every penny.

I feel like xiaomi bands are cheap because they don’t really excel in accuracy. They’re more like smart watches with fitness tracking features. While garmins are fitness trackers with smart features. If you’re looking for cheaper alternative to smartwatches and don’t really care much for fitness tracking then get a mi band. But if you value accuracy, get something else

@@Noid1220 yes that's why i changed my mind, and bought Garmin Venu 2. So far i am happy with the purchase, except battery is less days than my Mi Watch, and cost me about 2 minimum wage in turkey. We also pay %18 vat + %14 smart watch tax which is absurd, because of islamist government.

@@Noid1220 in the first days, i couldn't understand menu system, now it is good. Battery seems a question for me. I never watched a full week with just smartwatch, so I can't compare to xiaomi. But 3.5 days, 10 hours of exercise tracking without gps, battery is %51. Screen seems more vibrant than Xiaomi, even though Xiaomi has a higher resolution. Maybe quality of the glass is the reason. Floors climbed is a good feature to me. And metrics seems accurate.

Garmin apps store is complete garbage. Garmin has absolutely no control who sell what in there and doesn't care either. They are far fsr away from the ecosystem apple and Samsung has developed. Everything else they have developed for their watches are superior than competition but their app store is a disgrace.

Don’t agree with your statement Have a look at the Garmin marq series. Garmins top range. You get a much more elegant design with better materials and higher quality build then the apple ultra In addition better health and sports tracking as well as better integration with various sport sensors. Apple still has a long way to go…

@@adanpalma4026 Marq is a top line in various designs. You may get a model with full titanium body and titanium bracelet loaded with all Garmin features including fitness and navigation. It may cost up to $2500. I have it on my wish list.
