Domain Expansions require 3 things: A) High levels of CE B) High control of CE C) A Cursed Technique Yuji has issues controlling his CE, which is why he had Divergent Fist. His CE levels are that of a Grade 1, high but not enough. And as we know, Yuji has been borrowing and borrowing Cursed techniques meaning he doesnt have one of his own. Also the manga debunks your "Yuji is the last finger" bs as it it stated the LAST FINGER was given to Rika by YUTA.

I'd love this! His reason has always been his loved ones and friends. I do think that the souls of the dead will give yuji that slap on the back that final push when ALL yujis hope is lost. With his friends and family alive and dead then his light will shine through sukunas darkness and benevolent shrine will be something noone will predict. I've been thinking that his DE will be full of Cogs 😅 since its referenced so much and yujis mindset is that hes nothing but a cog.

People keep forgetting Sukuna is at 19 fingers and yuta had Rika eat the 20th. Yuji doesnt have a finger anymore, Sukuna took it when he flipped to Megumi, so unless he eats Rika too, he aint getting 20 fingers. He would still lose his body to Sukuna temporarily as well for consuming that amount of Sukuna in one go, like he did in Shibuya
