Another important point to mention that, it's never easy to become gentil or kind it will always be hard, cuz were are human and human are not perfect so we have to accept that and embrace it.

Notes: You have to learn to be okay with being misunderstood Don't over-explain yourself When someone wrongs you, try to see it from their perspective Don't reciprocate people’s bad behavior → don't stoop to their level How to maintain gentleness in conflict: Learn to respond, not react Don’t respond when your emotions are very high → make decisions level-headedly Then look at it from their perspective You will regret what you say when you are angry because that's when the devil has power over you Think of it without any bias: “Am I the victim here?” You’re only responsible for your feelings, not others You ARE responsible for how you treat other people Reply to the message, ignore condescending remarks: “What do you mean by that?” Try to listen and understand, not just try to reply There’s a point where you value your self-respect and time → enough is enough if the conversation is useless When someone’s trying to take advantage of your gentleness, set boundaries Being kind doesn’t mean being a doormat Have a good relationship with yourself and be confident in yourself Have empath, gentleness, and compassion with others even when they're being bad to you -> don't disrespect your values When you look back you want to be sure that you were not in the wrong “Allahuma la taj’al fi qalbi ghilal lilazeena aamanuu” Oh Allah don't put an ounce of hatred in my heart for those who believe” If you start hating someone it will only affect you Hatred is the same as drinking poison yourself and expecting the person you hate to die Forgive people That doesn't mean you allow them to continuously hurt you If they were really hurtful: Set a boundary Forgive them and move on with your life Be humble enough to look at your actions → there will be times when you’re in the wrong When you're not gentle and graceful with yourself (talking bad about yourself, etc.) you won't be able to feel gentle for other people Think of all the good you’ve been through with the person you’re in conflict with: Will you let their mistakes erase years of friendship, etc.? The Prophet was gentle and forgiving → we get rewarded for following his sunnah You get a house in Jannah if you don’t engage in an argument (even when you’re right) Life itself is a gift, don't let things ruin it

I am actually living with someone that has the tendancy to say harmful think to me and at the begining I was responding and trying to defend my self but then I started to let things go and respond to that person calmly. Cause I don't like myself being in those states of angriness. Even if the words affect me, I am not responding back anymore. And as time go, gess what now that person is less rude to me and talk to me with respect.

I have this situation in our office that just triggers negativity. It makes me just want to think of having revenge and all that negativity, all the things that are not really who I am and I don't want to be that kind of person. I cried in my sujood because this challenge is making me the person I don't want to be. This certain person and situation really triggers me and testing my sabar. I remeber your video sister that gentleness have a lot of benefits and it is the best thing to do. Sabar is the key. But sister, how I can have a some kind of revenge or something I can do to make me feel a lot better by not doing bad things. Being to kind is so hard
