When I was about 30 I met a women my age through a group of mutual friends. When we bumped into each other again, she asked me out. She was tall and attractive, so sure. In one of the conversations we had, she mentioned that most of her friends had married or moved away. We saw each other for a couple of months. At the time I was starting to be interested in finding a good woman for a possible a LTR. Unfortunately, I never got the feeling that she was really that into me. I sensed that she was just looking for someone to latch on to or keep her entertained, so I ended it. No regrets.

I would add one thing. In an overwhelming percentage of women, there is a shelf life to that relationship. It is too easy for her to get bored/comfortable and once that happens, no matter who he is, she loses interest. Genuine lust is at or near the top of the list. Like Rom Wills says, if she doesn't lust you, walk away. You can feel it when it's genuine. She'll go out of her way to be with you and make you feel good. Money can't buy you lust. A woman can be attracted to your money/success, but it doesn't mean she'll be attracted to you physically/mentally. This is the only disagreement I have. I think it's more about physicality/masculinity, not about money/status. Plenty of women out there who will cheat on a man with money/status, to be with a guy they are physically attracted to.

Burning desire is fake. It's just the initial cocktail of chemicals when your mind starts believing that 'this might be it'... It's 100% guaranteed to fade, because it's largely built on mystery and imagination. Nothing tangible there... I don't care if the girl is 10/10 supermodel, nobody is 'superman' after you get to see them close and personal every day... Everything becomes normalized. That's why consequences are more important than desire. People need to be held accountable for their actions. You got bored of someone a year later? Well, too bad... I mean, you can leave, just don't expect it to be free... That's not quite true. A hoe is a hoe, regardless of attractiveness. But in actuality, average to mildly attractive women are generally more promiscuous because they have lower self-esteem. Highly attractive women value themselves more and are more easily able to get the guys they want for LTR's. So they might have more LTR's than the average girl, but less partners overall.
